its sad how dirty and horrible my red leather case looks..i always end up taking it off because it just looks old...but EVERYTIME i take it off, within few days i start to miss how the leather felt in your hand and how nicely it fits and put it right back on. tired of this love hate relationship!

I am thinking about going to apple store to see if they will possibly switch it out to the black one.

How about buttons, especially sleap/awake and volume?

Does this case have a negative consequences for them?

I had the black one and switched to the red. On my black 5s the red makes the phone pop around the edges. Once I seen how awesome that was I tried it with the white 5s and I was not to happy with the two

Good luck with that. The red one will look like garbage in about 2 weeks. It does look good though...for a few days...

This is the reason I moved away from this case. It's not terrible but not having the actual button feedback bothered me.

Why? Is it hard to press or is it not natural?
In my previous iPhone 5 - Power button died of normal non-case use, so now I'd like to avoid this.

Please tell more, because I'm considering to purchase black one.

I have a black and brown, buttons are fine.

1) Does the Apple logo in Black Case rub off? :(

2) Does the leather stretch so easily after time, which provides to let iPhone fell out of the Case? :(

3) Is the leather near mic and lightning jack crackable?

4) Would be the screen exposed to some danger, if I put phone (in case) back to top?

I'm still considering some other choices, like SGP Ultra Thin Air, SGP Ex Hybrid.

The logo dose not wear off nor wear down.

It won't stretch due to the material that the leather is wrapped around so it won't fall out

Those pieces are crackable but mine are still intact

It has a small lip for lay on the table

I think Apple needs to re-evaluate the leather they use. I've had my brown one for about 4 months. Bought it a week or so after they first showed up in stores. I had hoped it would turn a deep brown like the Coach case I gave to my mom. It didn't. It's definitely darker but just looks dirty it's not a good look. For a company so concerned about image this is not something you want being seen by the world. The case quality is actually really good. It's just the leather type that needs work.

I bought this case yesterday. I was always a anti-fan off all cases, but I have to say it's pretty awesome! Fantastic in touch and smell like wallet.

BLACK ON BLACK looks really elegant, stealthy and sleeky. I am impressed!

Spoke to soon the brown is going back, has a real stiff power button compared to the black, the volume buttons didn't feels as soft either, was also tighter for getting phone out.
Guess there is differences in these cases. Sticking to my black one now.

I think the Apple logo on the back of the black case would look way cool in silver.

I actually put on my black case a brushed metal decal from ********** it looked pretty smart. My favourite though is a retro apple logo, gives a nice bit of colour to the case. Another good one is a white carbon fibre logo again gives a nice contrast with the white on black.

Yeah I experienced that when I got 2 black cases. One had a much more stiff powerbutton so I ended up sending that one back. The other had a really nice one.

Where are you getting them from? Is the rear of them sticky or what not and easy to remove without messing up the case?
