New Apple Leather Case

I'm actually really happy to hear it's hard to take on and off.
However, I often sit and flick my current case on and off while fidgeting. I'll miss that. Sincerely!

I have the same problem. I bought one (beige) and get it in is very quick and easy, but removing it, as a previous poster said, is quite difficult. Given the rigidity of the case (which admittedly to many folks is a good thing), I don't expect it to get any easier over time. I'll give it a couple more days, but I'll probably be returning it.
 
I am wondering if only Apple Stores are carrying these cases as I looked Best Buy, ATT, Target and Walmart but none have any in.
 
The baige color looks pretty good with the gold one in my opinion . What you guys think ? Love my phone ! Lol

I would like to know this too , does back and side bodyguardz fit with the case on
 
Picked a black one up at carphone warehouse and canceled my online order (thanks for the poster who suggested them) and love it. Very nice premium case.
 
Would anyone be kind enough to take a photo comparing the thickness of a naked 5/5s and the Apple case?

Can't find any good comparison pictures anywhere else.

I really like this case. Good grip and no fingerprints etc. There is a slight bit of play if you press on the sides. I tried about 4 in the store all the same. Hopefully dirt etc doesn't get in there and cause the case to scratch.

Not even close. The elago has an ugly oversized camera cutout and the bottom cutouts for the ports do not nearly resemble the ones on the Apple leather case.

The camera cutout is larger to reduce flash glare which I have experienced with lots of cases.
I said it's an awful lot like not exactly the same....

Here's a picture of my new iPhone 5S in the "yellow" leather case which is actually more of a chartreuse color. The box it comes in is even more green than yellow. I bought this case in a pinch because I knew I needed something immediately, and my local Apple Store only had THREE leather cases left - this one, the beige and the brown. The front doesn't seem well-protected for $40. I was pleasantly surprised by the felt-like material on the inside, however! I'll be searching for a different case in the meantime.

why even get it if you are going to replace it in a few days? :confused:
 
I've ordered this case along with my 5S, but I'm worried about the camera cut-out as it seems a little small (and in fact does not conform to Apple's own case specifications).

Any issues with flash photography using this case?

So instead of planning ahead and having a case in hand to use, you're abusing the return policy treating the case as a free rental. It's stuff like this that f'd it up for REI members.
