I think they introduced the ability to LINK accounts being used in this way a year or so ago? Try a specific apple site search and you’ll probably find it. I think you can also change the associated address with account authorization, vs. emails. That would probably do that same thing without aCully linking.

Thanks. Will research further.

What happens if you have multiple subs that ends in different periods? Will you be able to subscribe annually? My Apple music sub rebill annually on october 1st, and my ATV+ in march along with Apple Arcade in november or december I think.
I don't think One has Annual. And yea I would guess they would either suspend the individual subs or deduct the amount you would be paying for the bundle price. This is a similar situation for us. We get AM through Verizon Wireless. Will they be like Disney and subtract the AM price from the bundle price. If they do that, we will most likely take Premier.

EDIT: Or the third option someone mentioned sounds best. They just credit you for what you have left on the individual subs, and lump it into One from then on.

I have planned out everything to "merge" my two different Apple IDs into one. Then I remembered something that has tripped me up... My dang Apple Card. My understanding is that the Apple Card is locked to the iCloud account that I applied with... This whole two Apple ID business is by far the most complicated thing associated with Apple that I have ever contended with.

***UPDATE***

Here is a shortened transcript (screen cap) of the response I got from Apple support in regards to those of us who have two Apple IDs and an Apple Card...TLDR: Not possible, re-apply for a new apple card...🤦🏻‍♂️

Yes, applecard IS tied to an Apple ID and I don't know if/how that could be changed. But iTunes and iCloud merging, SHOULD be possibly or at least you can associate the Apple ID that is with your Apple Card WITH iTunes, to get essentially a merging? No?

Assuming that you need all the services within the bundle.

I need only two: iCloud and Music. That means on the cheapest Apple One, I'm overpaying by $4, or $4 for services that I don't need.

No, thanks.
Actually, if you pay for Apple Music for $99 a year, plus 99 cents for the iCloud upgrade, you would save $5.71 a month. The other thing I do is on Ebay and Amazon occasionally you will find iTunes gift cards for 15% and sometimes even 20% off, so some years I pay $80 for a year of Apple Music.

Wait - so Apple will actually let you merge two different accounts now??

Going to have to see how this is finally done. It looks like it would have to be the $29.99.

I have Apple Music Family Plan($14.99), 2TB iCloud($9.99), and AppleTV+ (Free til May 2021) which is $24.98 a month now. So for $5 more I can add Arcade and News.

The most amazing thing with prices on the Canadian site, is they all just appear to be $1.00 more than the American version... we're paying LESS for once. $20.95 for the family plan?

Personally: I will take apple arcade over the godforsaken garbage that make up the majority of app stores 'in app purchases' games... Arcade is a pure joy.

But tastes vary etc, etc. I squarely fall in the old fart category by now I guess, and absolutely enjoy games.

Sorry wasn't picking on Apple Arcade for what it provides, I meant it more as their are a larger number of users that don't game at all in general and won't even use it because they have no interest in games so the bundles are less appealing to them.

Very fair value. Likely the $19.95 one for me.
I agree about the fair value. I was already paying $25 per month for a family Apple Music subscription and 2 TB of iCloud storage. I was also already planning to spend another $5 per month for ATV+ when the new seasons start so I was going to be at $30 per month for Apple services. This new program basically means I will get Apple Arcade, Apple News+ and Apple Fitness+ free. While I probably would not have spent money on them, I will probably use all of them some since they will be free.

No.

1) If I associate the Apple ID that is tied to my Apple Card (AC) to my iTunes account, then I lose access to all my app purchases I’ve made.

2) Because AC is tied to a specific account, I would still be forced to have two Apple IDs signed into my phone to use AC in Apple wallet, even if I figured out a reliable way to get the rest of my data onto a single account. So I would still have one Apple ID for all my data, iTunes/app purchases, Apple services, and iCloud subscription and yet another Apple ID solely for Apple wallet.

For all of apples statements about not recommending two ids, they do a good job of making it next to impossible to go down to one.

i went through this awhile back. closing your account and then applying under new icloud account, which is the only way. it's ridiculous.

What nonsense. Ridiculous way to operate. But buy our new watch and you will be able to get a virtually meaningless and inaccurate blood oxygen reading.

to make things worse, i got a refund on something on my old icloud account i closed, but they won't tell you or send you the check. YOU have to call to have them mail you a check. Even though it's with all the same SSN and contact information as my new icloud account. it's the most ridiculous thing ever.

A deal for me. Already spending $33/month for Music, TV+ and 2Tb iCloud for Family. Premium would be less money and add 3 new services. Probably would not use Arcade at all but News and Fitness would be nice. Works for me. YMMV.

Terrible. I am glad I am not in that situation. Here in Finland cheques have not been used for more than 20 years. All bank to bank electronic payments.

yeah i mean the same thing though. they won't just apply it to my new account or deposit it into my bank account that's attached. they make you jump through hoops lol

You know that this is meaningless and inaccurate based on your extensive research and testing of the device? Some other study of the device to which you can refer us? A secret internal Apple memo that you got and are going to publish? Or just spouting baseless drivel?

It is an interesting question or comment though. Most SpO2 meters, measure at the fingertip and the light reading goes THROUGH THE FINGERNAIL. People think its the finger, but its the nail area where the light measures. I’m curious to see how the measurement will be through the skin (and we know we had issues with tattoos and hair for the HR sensors coming out of the gates with initial apple watches). And whether it will be as accurate as the traditional measurement location.

Not really. It is just baseless speculation. He neither asks a question, nor makes a statement supported by anything.

I am curious as well. From some discussions with researchers at UCSF, Apple has been doing a lot to find interesting medical results from SPO2 sensors. I look forward to seeing if the release a medical clearance for this later.

And whether it will be as accurate as the traditional measurement location.

That is the question, is it not. :)
