I'm interested, but I'm still blown away that they don't offer crossfade on Apple Music. Not even a timeline to introduce the feature if I scoured the internet correctly...

Reminds me of Standard oil, squeezing the competition and building up the base even bigger than it already is

Standard Oil never squeezed out any competition. They built vertically and produced a supply chain from in the ground to "at the pump" and minimized their costs, which allowed them to lower their retail prices. Their competition mirrored that, and when they were broken up it was quite pointless as that competition had caught up and beaten them at their own game, and a side effect was that it made Rockefeller even wealthier... the individual companies were worth more than Standard Oil as a whole (and remain incredibly valuable to this day) and shares doubled and tripled, creating the first billionaire in him.

Why did they have to put News in the Premier package only!??! Not that I really want it, but if TV+ and storage is already in there I would have considered the Individual package ONLY to get rid of the freaking News+ stories clogging up my news feed.

I wish they just had an annual plan.

Looking at the fitness page it's $9.99 a month or $79.99 for the year.

I really just want news+ and the iCloud, but it's cheaper to buy them separately. But they do not have an annual discount as well...

Imagine, the top tier plan for $29.99 a month or like $300 a year or something.

Ugh... I'll stick with separate. Would have gone with the family plan but that 200GB is limiting for a family.... My photos alone take up all that space. Now if they announced photos and videos do not count towards that, that would be a different story.

Apple One starts at $15. I don’t need the other apps. So they are going to charge me $15 and I only use Apple Music.

No, they're not.

You can still sign up today for $4.99 Student, $9.99 Individual, $14.99 Family. Below the pricing on that page is an advertisement for an option to bundle the app in the future via Apple One and get other services.

They are not going to cut you off or alter your subscription fee, they want your $9.99 for just Apple Music and want to try to upsell you into Apple One to approve their average ticket dollars. They make more money by you staying put as compared to others that are paying separately for the other services and will bundle to save money.

Plus, if you can't still subscribe individually to the apps, how can they advertise this monthly savings by bundling? Spoilers, they can't.

But if you don't need or want any of the other apps, and you are only using Apple Music... then stay with Apple Music for $10? Lol. :p

No one ever said that was an option. I thought Apple One is now the only way to subscribe?....

All the posts on this site for the last month or two made it seem to me (IMO) that the bundle was replacing existing pricing structures.

It is funny that they have annual deals for certain services but not for all (including the bundles). Makes it extra confusing to calculate potential savings.

I need to upgrade our iCloud storage. I’m paying for Apple Music and iCloud. If I upgrade my iCloud it’s $14.99 + $12.99 = $31.62 with taxes. Premier in Canada is $38.63. Might as well pay the extra $7.01 a month at that point lol.

The amount of iCloud storage is laughable for the individual bundle (which is also the one with the most popular services).

Word is (from other posts) that you will be able to up the storage size a la carte once you're signed up. No one knows how much or if that will negate any savings from having the bundle. But it sounds like it will at least be possible.

The Fitness+ $79.99 per year discount is a good point. Apple Arcade is another one that is $4.99/mo or $49.99 for the year. So now I'm wondering if I'm forgetting anything, and to figure out how much of a discount are we really getting.

I was excited at first, but I’m paying $5 for Apple Music (student discount) and $3 for the 200GB iCloud. Since these are the only two I use, not really interested in the Apple One. Maybe if the individual plan had the 200GB and there is a student discount option... Otherwise no. Good for those who use and subscribe to all of them though.
