After i saw this ... it make i feel apple will stand stronger in market and will product coolest stuff in future ,
Apparently history speaks otherwise. The thing about those companies they became stagnant as well and innovation and ideas is no longer their interest. They just want to grow financially and it seems like that's the only thing that matters for them at that period. Sorry to say Apple is already showing those signs and they becoming comfortable. I hope I'm wrong though.

Amazing. Wish Jobs was alive to see it.

It is admirable piece of architecture. But Truthfully, I don't believe Jobs was the type of person that would care about a building named or designed after him. His personality was always business related and what this company stands for, and the Product they put out. That's what I think he cared most over than a building.

What an amazing structure! If you came across this walking through nature you would be like wow, what is this? It just looks great! I feel it’s a perfect lobby for a theater, so clean and minimalist without being cold or uninviting.

You go in and your mind is not overly stimulated, you feel good, you see natural surroundings, and then you go downstairs into a theater and your just ready to be drawn into the show.

This structure just screams Apple and Steve’s minimalist clean style.

It’s just magical:apple:

The screens at the Note 8 event were REALLY cool, but the more I watched the more I realized that it’s actually pretty distracting and impractical. Any images shown on both wall screens looked bent, and I got a little annoying and slightly overwhelming to look at after awhile. It made me appreciate the simple screen and that plain gradient background Apple always uses. Anyways, that’s just my opinion.

No I totally get what you mean. I think they were cool for the presentations (when they weren't talking) - especially, the integration of the floors, the pen reaching out from the screens for example - but I think in terms showing off the actual device specifics and talking through it a singular screen is much more effective because like you said the multiple screens tended to bend and skew the images. Somewhere in the middle would be nice! :)

Those employees sitting around outside of it doing nothing....that wouldn't have happened if Jobs was still alive.

Oh well, it's the last thing that Jobs wanted so hard to say no. Most other companies it would be considered a huge extravagant expense, but since Apple has so much in the bank it's not really a big deal.

I disagree, judging how Steve talked about this building, the design, the precision of the architectural tolerances, his involvement in the project etc etc Steve Jobs would definitely have cared greatly to see his "last" project finished, its not like he would scoff at something he cared this much about and spoke of so fondly.

I'm glad people here seem to think all this is a net positive for Apple... Because I'm afraid the new campus is a sign of all that is wrong with Apple..

Sitting close to co-workers is really important when it comes to productivity and creativity.

I'm sure the guys at Xerox Parc wouldn't had come up with so many great ideas, if they had been spread out, or had been part of the rest of corporate culture at Xerox. Without the bean bags where they could sit down and brainstorm, the laser printer, graphical user interface, the optical mouse, Ethernet etc. may not been developed there.

I think Steve recognized this.

That said, I'm not sure Apple has managed to create such an environment with the Apple Park

I'm aware of his involvement with Apple Park. I don't disagree that he wouldn't want to see it, and nor did I imply that he would "Scoff" at the concept of a building named after him. I simply believe that he is the type of person that isn't one that needs to have landmark/building implying his recognition. His personality appeared not of someone that would want acknowledgement for reasons as such, but then again, Jobs was unpredictable with his Candor and approach to things in life.

If you look closely, you can clearly see that one of the guys in the left group is holding the new iPhone in his hands.

Damn man all he's saying is that since this was partly Steve's project, he wishes Steve was alive to see it actually finished... Has nothing to do with the name of the building...

I think You're over reading my Post and I'm not being dismissive of Jobs being present for the new building, I'm just simply stating how I interpret Jobs being not one to be so personal about a landmark. See Post #41 based on more in depth of what I was referring too.

Anyone here seen the film The Circle with Tom Hanks and Emma Watson?

Yes, it's loosely based on Google as it involves a company whose goal is to have every bit of information on every aspect of people's lives. While Google is a threat to everyone's privacy and unless they are stopped, it won't end well, the movie was horribly written and acted.

You have to shake it off. It sounds like an Android fanatic has put one of those drugs in your drink. Don't fret though, your fellow Apple enthusiasts will help you snap out of it. Here you go, Apple's revenue and growth is accelerating. They have a ton of new products coming out this year alone and are owning every category-hardware, software and services that they enter. Heck, they just took the entire AR world by storm overnight with AR Ki! Their R and D is also accelerating and now they are spending a billion dollars a month on R and D, among the most in the entire world. And out of all that, you get that they are "stagnant" and "ideas no longer interest them????" That is some powerful drug they slipped you. Get some coffee, walk it off and get back in the game; it's never too late, and a pro tip, be sitting down when you watch the next keynote on the 12th and don't bother putting on socks that morning.
