Very nice building. Is it just me or does the theater look pretty small?
I think that's just the entrance. The actual theater is underground.
There is an elevator on the left, and on the plan there are alot more all around...I feel for anyone I a wheelchair having to attend I only see escalators!!
When I look at that incredible office building I can't help thinking, with anticipation and hope, "Those long-standing iTunes bugs are going to be eliminated now!"
Yeah, I love the building from the outside but the working areas don't appear to be particularly conducive to a state of deep, undisturbed concentration if this is any indication:

Now that's somewhere you wanna work! Over a thousand trees! Lots of fresh air! Spacious! Luxurious! It's so big, yet powered by 100% renewable energy! I'm pretty sure these guys there would be using that theater to watch all the movies in their spare time
Love this company for this reason!

I hate that.makes you feel real temporary.Yeah, I love the building from the outside but the working areas don't appear to be particularly conducive to a state of deep, undisturbed concentration if this is any indication:

I'm glad people here seem to think all this is a net positive for Apple... Because I'm afraid the new campus is a sign of all that is wrong with Apple.
1) It's an ungodly and completely unnecessary cost (with no tangible benefit)
2) The giant, communal workspace is disruptive and upsetting to employees. Could facilitate the leaving of crucial talent
3) People like Jony Ive dedicated a significant portion of their time and effort in the design and construction process, diverting attention away from the product line.
4) the migration of employees from Infinite 1 loop to here will result in a reduction of productivity spread out over months.
Making a pretty, round building isn't going to increase productivity or make more people want to work at Apple. It's cool though...

The Steve Jobs Theatre has no solar panels; that's the main "ring" campus. It does have the World's largest carbon fiber roof though:I feel for the guys that have to keep all those solar panels clean.
Those employees sitting around outside of it doing nothing....that wouldn't have happened if Jobs was still alive.
Yep. Have heard that quite a lot of Apple developers are complaining about it already. (As a dev working in an open plan office myself, I can sympathise... and I never had a smaller office to start with, like most of them did.)Yeah, I love the building from the outside but the working areas don't appear to be particularly conducive to a state of deep, undisturbed concentration if this is any indication:

This building is an Apple product. It is admirable piece of architecture. But Truthfully, I don't believe Jobs was the type of person that would care about a building named or designed after him. His personality was always business related and what this company stands for, and the Product they put out. That's what I think he cared most over than a building.
It'll be interesting to see what they do with the staging. As below average as the presentation was, the Note 8 staging/floor/lighting was amazing. Hopefully they commit to doing a little bit more than "a stage and a screen" for the keynote.
Amazing. Wish Jobs was alive to see it.
It would be a nice touch at the first event held in this theatre to have a "One more thing..." element.
