It’s not effort.
It’s useless posturing.

It is Johny Ives personified.
All form, no function.
The magic Apple once possessed is now long gone and it seems few care. One camp wants Apple to be an efficient no frills business (shareholders I suppose), another might have even forgotten what Apple used to be. Oh well, I've moved on anyway.

ok nice nobody cares -- AI can do this in five minutes. next!
I personally think that NOT using AI is more impressive. People passing off AI as something creative implies laziness and lack of effort. You’ll see this a lot on Facebook - a lot of people are getting tired of quick AI generated fakery. People don’t respect low cost, high turnover content because it takes very little effort or skill.

Fantastic stuff, always appreciate the technical effort in making these happen. It's far too easy to go for CGI and computer animation nowadays (not that I'm dunking on them, they have their place).

Reminds me of the Windows 10 desktop wallpaper, which was also an in-camera capture.

People that fear AI or proclaim AI can do everything better are the ones that will be out of work in a few years. People that want to remain creative while using AI as a tool are the ones that will be employed gainfully for decades to come.

This is a waste of money. I love Apple, but this just shows how far behind they are in both developing and using AI.
This mentality is basically the problem with our modern society, creating art is now considered a waste of time, this guy would rather have this effect being created by a robot while killing his only planet rather than see a group of people use their skills and talent in creating something that is beautiful.

Please ask AI to give you some common sense and a personality

Can you put resource into updating iWork and not this crap please

Regards, everyone
What updates to iWork are you looking for? I use it as my primary productivity tools and am genuinely interested in hearing your thoughts.

As I read that, it sounds like I'm in marketing, but I actually want to know! lol

Awesome, didn't know that. Kind of ironic that their design language back then was mostly flat and lifeless, carried over from Windows 8.

I guess I won't be seeing this. I just yesterday cancelled my free month of Apple One. Which was a nightmare to do. I had to google it to find out how.

You are suppose to be able to cancel a subscription as easily as signing up - Amazon recently had a well publicized court case about how many steps they require you to take to cancel. That was nothing compared to the dance I had to do to get rid of Apple One. Another experience of Apple Greed at its worst.

As an artist who designs commercial productions for a living, not only is this beautiful to see; I’m thrilled they hired a crew to make this happen. Apple has always been about giving artists the tools to make art. Bravo to the creatives who chose to make this little moment real.
