I guess I won't be seeing this. I just yesterday cancelled my free month of Apple One. Which was a nightmare to do. I had to google it to find out how.

You are suppose to be able to cancel a subscription as easily as signing up - Amazon recently had a well publicized court case about how many steps they require you to take to cancel. That was nothing compared to the dance I had to do to get rid of Apple One. Another experience of Apple Greed at its worst.
Errr, you go to your account in settings, subscriptions, pick the subscription you want to manage and press the big cancel button?

This is a waste of money. I love Apple, but this just shows how far behind they are in both developing and using AI.
The moment that Apple creates an ad with AI, or any company that creates advertising (looking at you Coca-Cola), they get way more **** for it than whatever point people are going to come up with to complain about this. I appreciate that they are using really people and the real creative process to make something. I don't think Apples advertising has any weight as far as a metric of how good Apple is at AI.

That ruling was overturned and completely vacated. In any case it's so easy to cancel subscriptions aquired through Apple, there are far worse examples out there.

Can you put resource into updating iWork and not this crap please

Regards, everyone
Maybe they're putting the resources into things that bring in the profits they need to resource iWork development, which won't bring in as much profits as Apple TV. Priorities...

Neat! It’s refreshing that they went with practical effects. I do wish they’d kept the Mac startup sound. Also, I’m disappointed they didn’t use Liquid Glass.

That’s nice of Apple to share how they made that uninspiring new intro. Can any recall what it sounds like w/out looking at it again?

Apple seems to have this strange desire to prove to people how creative they are. I feel like Apple showed their creativity in the past primarily through their beautiful merger of design and function. They slowly started drifting away from that and it seems they had less and less success with the pros. Specifically the Mac Pro's. After the towers and they went to the garbage can have they really knocked it out of the park in the mass pro community? They have made impressive machines but are geared way more towards a smaller niche pro market rather than the mass pro market. Apple's brilliance was hardware and software and then some great marketing in the Think Different era showing there was more depth then flashing lights. The Think Different posters really made you think what YOU could do, not what can Apple do. Looking at the various posters of people from all sorts of fields. They are posters you would want to hang up on your wall or even in your office. Inspiring people being used to inspire you. When has Apple tried to inspire you with their marketing? I feel we are seeing more Apple patting themselves on the back telling us how great they are, how impressed Mother Nature is with them.

That all being said I do appreciate the practical physical creations, I just care less when Apple is show casing how they did it as basically another ad for themselves.

This is really cool. Having seen the new “sting” (apparently that’s what they are called?) a few times now, there is no way I would have guessed that it was created with practical lighting effects. Glad to see it. Wish the video had more behind the scenes stuff. I find that kind of thing fascinating.
As for all of the hate in the comments… I just don't get why people are like that. 🙄

They did this not because they wanted authenticity, but because they literally did not have the design or engineering prowess to pull it off what a high school student using AI or free design software could have done in under 10 minutes.
I'm sure that's it 🤣
