the power button fell off on my first bumper black/transparent today

If you still have both pieces, you can re-attach the power button to the attachment piece with a small dab of crazy glue. This should fix and keep the button in place. I am pretty sure the glue that is being used on these is really weak or not enough. The power button holding down the phone button is also a big problem being worked on.

sw-box and other factories/sellers are aware of all the button issues and will be resolving them.

and i dont have the piece that fell off obyte ,

For the record, the + volume button fell off on my black/white one, but the power button WAS the one that went on the black/transparent. Too funny.

Knocking on wood as I type this, but all 3 of mine, including the black/transparent one, are intact.

my wife and i got the white and black/transparent ones respectively and have been using them fine for 2+ weeks now. no loss of buttons yet.

we really like these better than the apple and dealextreme bumpers.

Replacement finally came in today.

Weird, the bumper came in a opened package so I guess it ain't new?

Looks new anyways. Hope the buttons survive.

Maybe they opened it to check on the buttons?

For whoever is keeping score, the buttons are still just fine on the two bumpers I bought.

did u have to buy something else to get the replacements

No you don't have to buy anything extra. Just tell them you have no plans to. My first one had a button that wouldn't depress. They told me the same thing they told you but when I said I had no plans to buy anything else they sent me a replacement. Replacement took MUCH longer to get here but worked perfectly.

Can you post pictures of the differences?

At first they asked me to notify them on my "next order" so they could send the replacement on that box (funny huh?), but I told them I wasn't planning on buying anything else from them for the time being so they shipped it.

Buttons are still on, already beat my original ones (like 15 minutes).

I don't have the one with the defective button any longer. I used it for dremel practice. The problem with it was the power button wouldn't press down. It has something to do with the black piece that the button connected to. The replacement was perfect and as good as the apple bumper.

I've had my 2 for a couple of months now and they are holding up great. No issues.

Someone asked about the screen protectors a while back......

I've been using one on my screen for a few days now, and I can barely tell the difference. Prior to that, I was only using the rear protector, and that was fantastic.

I just ordered 5 more (the price drops at five), because I didn't apply this one as perfectly as I wanted to. I ordered a few extra in case I screw it up again. :p
