The calculator one just does not make sense to non apple consumers. It is a very different market approach Apple seems to be following. Instead of doing the usual "buy my product" they seem to be doing a "look product!" message to the public. I believe they are using us, as Mac Fanatics to do the "buy the product" line. And it seems to be working.

With that being said calculator fit that description while the Cryptic Messages fit the more traditional ad style.

I guess they know what works...I only like the Vista security one and the rest (like most ads) just bug me. But non-techie consumers ARE talking about them--still after all this time! So--whatever works :)

love em

Windows cryptic messages is great, the other is nice, and demonstrates a nice apple core animation transition... :)
We need more of these, and especially here in europe, get the recent stuff out here, the Vista ones would be very helpfull right now :)

HAHA.

Both are hilarious. Flashback & Computer Cart are the names, btw. Not calculator.
