New iBook Ship date

i ordered mine last wednesday night (10 p.m.-ish), got my 12 inch, 60 gig this morning about 10:15, got it set up with my old computer transferring files and then had to go to work, but i should be back at home in about two hours. so excited to play with my new mac

Hmmm... I ordered mine last Tuesday with free shipping, and the estimated delivery is tomorrow at 10:30 MDT. The most recent activity on it was leaving Indianapolis at 2:07 this morning. If it was going to Memphis, it would be there by now, so it must be coming here (Boise, ID). At this point though it seems like it should have made it. Is this unusual? Anyone have any idea? Could I get a knock without tracking saying it's on the delivery vehicle?

Lol, don't be jealous. You're not missing out on much...but that's because I don't know how to use Mac OSX...this is very frustrating. I can't watch any of my divx movies or use appleworks with zoom. I need to zoom in with apple works Damn it!

Well, my book came Monday, just I was on vacation until this afternoon when I got back. Luckily I had a friend watch the shipment (he didn't know it was an iBook until I cracked the box at his house and showed him, he was trés jealous.
So far every thing has been grand... Screen looks great, 512 Ram is working a little hard but well, there are ripples(!!) and the Airport is solid, I don't have my house mates' iBook or PBook to compare screens to (well it does beat out Clammy's screen)
So I'm Glad they are rolling in for everyone... I hope we all enjoy the last PPC iBook... let our books go down in history!

Today, at 10 AM, Fedex tried to deliver both. Since I'm at work, I'll go to their depot tonight to pick them up. 5 business days is pretty damn good since originally it was 3-5 days to ship, then 8-10 to deliver.
I can't WAIT to crack it open tonight!
I am not pleased at all.
Order my BTO iBook on Wed morning with expedited shipping. Apple emailed and said it shipping Friday 7/30. It has yet to arrive yet. Estimated delivery is on Friday. It left the phillipines yesterday to parts unknown.
My iBook has gone from Eindhoven to Liege so far (away from me )... hopefully that means it will go overnight through Belgium, across the channel, and up to the Stansted TNT depot, then maybe I'll get it tomorrow.

Yes, I live in Warminster, PA, and yesterday morning it arrived in Philadelphia, (45 mins from me), then went to Fort Washington, PA (20 mins from me) and said on truck for delivery, and the next update said it went back to the facility in Philadelphia, which confused me, but a couple minutes later the truck shows up at my house, right after I signed for it, I checked my fedex tracking and it still said in facility in Philadelphia.
So it is possible to recieve it without it saying its on a delivery truck. Good luck though.

It could be, mine left Shanghai, and got to Indianapolis in a day and a half, and then I got it a day later. Theres a possibility.
