You probably still owe tax to your State. Scofflaws just make the rates rise for the rest of us.
What, you think that's unreasonable?
I had three of these in the queue to buy. I've used the MacBook screen - the reflection sucks. None of the places where these were going to go can handle a glare-type (proper industry term) screen. I'm going to look for the old ones on clearance.
Or we could get Minis with a Samsung display.... what a buzzkill.
Because you're trying to do work, and you have to focus through the reflection of the tree outside your window, and everytime the bird takes off from the tree, he flies right through your Terminal window. i.e. distracting
No, an anti-glare coating does not preclude the use of a touch rasterizer. Separate issues.
The ground rules included, "7. No questions about gaming". Ask about games and you don't get invited back to the next press conference.

Man, people with Apple ][e compatibility cards are going to be really confused. Everybody else in IT will be much happier.
Heh, we do this for fun.
Or you could start a sentence that way, and really tweak off the syntax nazis.
If a Mac isn't worth $150 more than a Dell, I pity the IT guys at your school.
Wow, align some priorities, dude.
Pay no attention to the RDF. As if a focus group is significant compared to people who've been using machines for months. Of course shiny things look good the first time you see them. We've been through this all before - in 1987. I bet the 'radical new industrial design' will look great with this on it:

Glossy screen. I sit with a window behind me. I would have to redesign my office.
What, you think that's unreasonable?
the glossy screen kills it for me also...
love all the other goodies, but the glossy screen with no option to get a REAL screen scraps the possibility for me...
Or we could get Minis with a Samsung display.... what a buzzkill.
why do some people hate the glossy screen so much anyways?

Anyone else thinking that the gloss-only option represents hardware being obligately put in place for future touch compatibility?

why didnt they ask about the gaming market in the Q&A![]()

Sorry if this has been said, but anyone else notice they took off the Apple logo on the command key? Now it has the pin wheel thing and "command".![]()

First of all the on the home page... you can't start a sentence with "Or".

A lack of a 17" model is bad for those looking for a lower priced iMac or those who have limited desktop space. I don't know what I'm going to use in 2 years when my current iMacs need an upgrade. I might have to go to Dell.
If a Mac isn't worth $150 more than a Dell, I pity the IT guys at your school.
Why do i have this feeling that apple will release a new imac (new design) at macworld and **** us all?![]()
Wow, align some priorities, dude.
From what Jobs said, customers apparently really liked it in the focus groups. To quote "Customers say they love glossy displays."

Has anyone mentioned the pricing in education and ADC stores? ... What's going on??
