Matte Slider Pictures
Just received my Incase Black Matte Slider and thought I would share a few photos with you all. I bought it to replace my aging Agent18 Black Eco Shield. The matte finish feels great in the hand, and getting it in and out of my pocket is no problem. As current slider case owners already know, the case is a very snug fit. If you have any questions or requests, just let me know!

thanks for the pics... one question, does any of the chrome bezel on the iphone show on the bottom when this case is on?
Thanks, I think this one will be a keeper! My only gripes so far are that the ring/silent switch is slightly more difficult to toggle that it was when it was in my Agent18 and the fact that there is a thin raised line all around the sides of the case, probably an artifact of the plastic molding process.

thanks... so i guess it's still possible to scratch up the chrome with this case on... is this matte black similar in appearance to the macbook and how does it handle fingerprints?
I have the White Slider and my Chrome Bezel is beginning to scratch because stuff still gets trapped in there... I guess its inevitable.
I would say that it is comparable to the finish of the newer Penryn Black MacBooks. It does not seem to pick up prints easily.
I ordered my Black Matte Incase Slider today. I heard it was really good so hopefully it is. This would be my second case for my iPhone. I would advise anyone not to buy gel cases because they don't offer very good protection.

Yeah I just called my local apple store and they don't carry the matte version. If anyone has seen the matte version in another retail store, please let me know.
On Saturday I called the local Apple store and asked the woman who answered the phone if they carried the Incase Slider in black matte. She put me on hold and came back and said yes. I asked her if she was sure that it was black matte and not black. She said yes.
I went to the store on Sunday, and I did not see any black mattes on the shelf. I asked a guy working there, he checked, and he said that they do not carry black matte.
I wish that I would have asked the woman I had talked to what her name was........
