Find My iPhone doesn't have leather

It's wood, not leather. But regardless, it looks awful on iOS 7.

Note: I wasn't correcting you, just agreeing

As with most of their other new iOS icon, in my opinion, the gradient is too strong. Other than that the icons look fine

I never liked the old iPhoto icon, especially the ugly camera that was part of it.

They're not good but they're not any more offensive than the other iOS 7 icons.

I expect all of iLife and iWork to be updated for iOS 7 (look and icons)

iBooks to FINALLY be updated for iOS 7 (look)

And Find My iPhone should get that iOS 7 look.

The difference between these apps and the core iOS 7 apps is that Apple most likely has to support both iOS 7 and iOS 6, as well as 64/32 bit versions, this takes some time and resources which they probably didn't have during the iOS 7 development, they would be working on it now I'd assume.

I'm less concerned with the icons. What I'm wondering about is the interface - especially for GarageBand, which relies so heavily on Skeuomorphism.
Contrary to other iOS apps which use Skeuomorphism merely for the sake of aesthetics, GarageBand is actually supposed to mimic real instruments, such as Guitars, Keyboards and Drums. They will really need to reinvent the whole thing in order to translate it to the iOS7 scheme, and for this reason I consider this one to be the most challenging of design transitions.

We'll have to wait and see what they come up with.

What the hell are you talking about? There is absolutely no need to change the illustration of the instruments. Maybe they bring the interface into line with iOS 7...

The instruments have nothing to do with skeuomorphism.

I want an official black & white mod.

Also, I want an ergonomically acceptable musicplayer for iPad. Mr Ive destroyed my Apple experience. My answer will be skipping iPhone 5S and iPad Mini 2. My phone is a sh...ty and cheap Android, because the old iPhone 4 is in use as a musicplayer. A Mini would have been a good addition to the iPad 4. (I do have many e-books.) But to be honest: It is not only the horrible design of the new icons; it is also the greedy handling of offered storage. (It was already time for a storage doubling a year ago.)
Mr Ive is posing on magazine covers, playing the god of design. But he can only make things thinner. With hardware, this anorexia does function - for a while.

Wow! Those are some great icons! I was expecting some safari kindergarden kind of mess. Those are actually really cool. Vintage 70ies style. :D

It will probably look like logic X, which is good

I love iOS 7!!! I can't wait for them to butcher all the icons in OS X as well. It's trendy to have no taste and I want to be trendy.

I know others like the design direction of iOS7, but I'm not a fan. Feels very 90s (in a bad way) – reminds me of clip art and "desktop publishing" in the Mac OS 8 era.

Almost all iOS 7 icons and UI elements are the type of things some ten year old with MSPaint could throw together. I don't understand how anyone can seriously be a fan of this junk.

What the hell are YOU talking about? That whole app is the epitome of skeuomorphism. Don't you know what that term even means?

At first blush these icons are underwhelming. But I suppose most of us will get used to and eventually come to like them.

Of course, it's not like you can change them. Shrugging your shoulders is probably as far as it gets.
