My 2018 iPad Pro has been excellent. I enjoy it for what it is, haven't found any reasons to upgrade and probably won't for a while.
Same. I would really only consider upgrading if something drastic happened like an 11” with OLED or an iPad mini with promotion. More cameras and a chipset the OS can’t fully use? Pass.

I feel like Apple could easily merge the iPad Air and 11 inch iPad Pro into one product to streamline the iPad lineup a little bit.
True. But Apple needs several steps on its iPad value/price ladder to make you understand how big a value iPads Pro are compared to the budget and mid-tier options.

Apple isn't streamlining any lineups but segmenting them as strategically as possible to sell you up on spending more next to you buy a new device.

Selling you up doesn't work when you compress two separate products into one.

It's the same reason why Apple will never put out an iPad that overlaps in features, ports and specs with a MacBook, and why Apple's many pro apps most likely will never land on iPads.

Do we know if the iPad 10 still work with the 1st gen pencil? Seriously thinking of selling my 9 as a package with it and get the 10th with the 2nd get pencil.
If the iPad 10 gets USB-C as rumored, I doubt it will have support for the 1st gen pencil since there would be no way to charge it. It'd most likely switch to the 2nd gen pencil, like what happened with the iPad mini last year.

The iPad has become the new Performa and the iPad Pro is the new PowerMac.

You don't "need" anything other than food, water, and shelter.
No doubt you want an event, however, the drama in the vast majority of your posts (which I still think is a bot) is quite cloying.
I'm also baffled by how this user comments and reacts to every single article almost immediately. Almost as if that's their full time job. It's kind of sad.

The day I began ignoring this user/bot's content is the day I started actually enjoying these forums. The vitriol about unions made it pretty clear that this is either an Apple-affiliate, troll, or bot

I’m looking at a new Apple TV. I started with an early Roku, then later bought an Apple TV HD. When I decided to go 4K I bought a Fire TV, then back to Roku. Nothing has even come close to that original Apple TV.

This is the company that sells…hold on, let me check..

8 different variations of iPhones at the moment. They include:

iPhone 12: 6 colors, 3 storage capacities: 18 models
iPhone SE: 3 colors, 3 storage: 18 models
13, 13 mini
14, 14 Pro, 14 Max, 14 Pro Max

Notice I gave up counting the variations. My only point is that to you and I, yeah, that would make sense.

To Apple…apparently not? 🤷🏼‍♂️

I am curious to see where Apple plans to take the iPad lineup. If you visit history for the iPhone lineup when it adopted OLED and the mid tier had LCD for a couple more years before finally having OLED where does that leave the Pro line with ProMotion, quad speakers, LiDAR, extra cameras, flash, FaceID and USB4/TB.

iPad (2022) = redesign, USB-C
iPad mini 6 (2021) = redesign, USB-C
iPad Air 4 (2020) = redesign, USB-C
iPad Pro (2018) = redesign, USB-C
iPad Pro 12.9” (2021) = microLED

Rumoured:
iPad Pro (2023/24) = OLED
iPad Air (2024/25) = microLED/OLED (possible)
iPad mini (2024/26) = OLED
iPad (2027/28) = OLED

Granted we still have iPhone SE with an LCD and some people prefer it due to PWM, but given that most people don’t purchase an iPad for its rear cameras it seem Apple is really stretching the OLED adoption.

Please Apple, keep the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro 11-inch (3rd generation) and iPad Air (5th generation) compatible with the new iPad Pro 11".
