Have a 32gb 2018 mini and 2015 IPP 12.9. I hate laptops but am actually considering replacing the mini *and* IPP with the 14” MBP if it gets updated and kinks worked out. We have the M1 14” and it works pretty well.

I feel like Apple could easily merge the iPad Air and 11 inch iPad Pro into one product to streamline the iPad lineup a little bit.

I think more like they should merge the iPad and iPad Air and just have an iPad Mini, iPad, and iPad Pro just like the phones.

Likely so you wouldn't have to own both a iPad plus a iPhone. I suggested a iPad mini promotion display with cellular capabilities. Do we need to be told that you have to have both forever?

The original knowledge navigator concept was a AI based tablet with phone capabilities. Still not there because of this forced product separation by the industry. Shake them up Apple.
Perhaps s/he doesn’t have a iPhone so a cellular iPad makes sense. Otherwise making calls on the iPad via the iPhone can save money because a cellular iPad is unnecessary.

@Rafterman - hope that helps.

I'd love a cheaper iPad JUST for drawing.
No need for M1/M2, no need for premium features.
I just want a modern design and laminated display (this feature is pretty much imperative).
Simple as that.

Do we know if the iPad 10 still work with the 1st gen pencil? Seriously thinking of selling my 9 as a package with it and get the 10th with the 2nd get pencil.
If the iPad 10 gets USB-C as rumored, I doubt it will have support for the 1st gen pencil since there would be no way to charge it. It'd most likely switch to the 2nd gen pencil, like what happened with the iPad mini last year.
But of course! Silly me!😂
Thanks! 😊

Well, we've been bamboozled... The new 10th gen iPad only works with the 1st gen pencil, and there's a new adapter you can get to charge it. :rolleyes:
