Where's the ad about the person trying to use normal headphones and being angered as they don't want to use a ****** low quality adapter?

Do the ads showcase how there are no iPhone 7's to buy?

What a waste of money on Apple's part if they are actually buying ad time on television right now.

You don't know how advertising works if you don't think all the ads they ran on the NFL games today stoked demand that will last until people get their hands on one

Their target audience isn't that tiny group of people angry at the world, but rather the 200 million people worldwide, let that sink in, who will be excited to buy it over the next 12 months.

Right now Apple is probably manufacturing iPhone 7s at the rate of 1/2 million units per day. And selling every phone they manufacture.

The ads are extremely effective, especially right now with Samsung's new phone being recalled for catching on fire at great risk to their owners and property. Didn't help that Samsung botched the recall in the US trying to sneak a shortcut as well.

These latest ads have been excellent. Hope more are coming!

Tiny group puhlease. Can't wait for apples disappointing sales numbers of this new phone. Funny you think you think people are angry at the world for disliking the removal of a port that works and has no better solutions. You apple apologists are full of excuses.

Low light "magic" camera is a lie, based on pictures posted online it's even worse than a camera of iPhone 6s; advertising water resistance when water damage isn't covered is irresponsible; suggesting to ride a bike under a lightning is just crazy and irresponsible as well. Not to mention an added danger of a working mobile phone at that moment.

I think it is disappointing photos taken by real users look nothing like the photos Schiller showed during the presentation.

Why is it disappointing that the fact that even with something as user friendly as an iphone, it takes real talent and a penchant for reading light, contrast and tone to create truly great photographs VS the surge-o-lanche of pedestrian snap shots that most people are limited to creating, regardless of how good the camera is?

No matter how good any camera gets, the photos that will be the ones that stand out will be made by the world's best photographers.

Hoping Apple doesn't "Void" warranties for people mimicking their ads with their current 7 model though!

I think things are going to get very interesting down the road regarding this. Surely there will be a tiny percentage of iPhone 7 handsets produced with faulty seals. Just like we get phones with other faulty components.

Right... You do know what site you are on... And that the sales seemingly are fantastic, hey!
But, please continue making an ass of yourself... Forge on.

Where is the ad from Samsung that its ISOCELL has beaten the iPhone cameras again this year?

I watched the Android Authority comparison between the Note7 and V20. I'm still getting V20 since still photos aren't the end-all, be-all for me. The video recording and unique audio features is important but no way was I agreeing with Lanh Nguyen that V20 was showing better still photos than Note7. Even I am not that biased.

But as the video above has proven, uh yeah, 7+ is losing to the Note7. The dislikes probably came from 600+ ticked off 7+ users. I really prefer if there was a wider angle on the 7+ front cam so we don't need anymore selfie sticks. So go ridicule the Note7 all you want. That exploding phone is beating 7 Plus' low light magic in several shots.

So Apple, low light magic my azz. Liars again by using "magic", taking out a 3.5mm headphone jack for more water-resistance without water damage while other water-resist phones still kept it, 25% brighter display when it is dim and still stuck at 750p/1080p, and sapphire crystal camera lens is all a bunch of crock!

Ads are just that.. BS-ing. Like the boy who cried wolf.

Apple Store: "Sir? Your iPhone is damaged by water. It's $349 plus tax to replace the phone."
Costumer: "But in your ad you were showcasing the water proof ability"
Apple Store: "That was just an ad sir,you shouldn't trust the ads. It's $349 plus tax to replace the phone."

There fixed for you.

If you use it like in the ad, this won't happen, so you just described you twisted little fantasy there... Great straw-man construction, impeccable.

Here's a more extensive comparison:
http://www.cnet.com/special-reports...vs-galaxy-s7-vs-iphone-6s-plus/#7-vs-galaxyS7

The iPhone 7 looks like it holds up pretty well in this shootout. It looks like a lot of the differences may come down to preferences in software post processing. A lot of the Galaxy shots look like they were sharpened more aggressively, which isn't a positive to me. I like to have the option of sharpening on my own if I want to do it.

With RAW, hopefully, people can decide what kind of end point they want to get too.

Yeah, one non scientific, crappo youtube crap by Android Authority (no bias there... Ahuh) --- "convinced (sic)". Why are you even here bud?

I've been trying out my new iPhone 7 in lighting situations that my 5s couldn't quite handle and it's doing considerably better well in those situations, but I'm still not blown away. It's probably because I'm used to what a true camera can do in low light. It's not a fair comparison, given that a DSLR style camera has one purpose and one purpose only.

I give it the iPhone 7 an OK in the better camera dept. It doesn't live up to the claims of being magical. Pretty good, but still nothing that's going to make me feel like I don't need to haul a DSLR when I want to be sure I get a good photo.

Well, duh, though the 7+ would probably been a bit more "magical" if you can tolerate the size.
Optical zoom is a fantastic thing in a DSLR and that's a major new thing.
The fact that the phone blends both sensors to create composites, which means a 2x like that would give better results than just using the 56mm lens, is great.

Anger is destroying you. Join the hundreds of millions of people who will find joy in buying the iPhone 7.

Water resistant but not covered for water damage?! Makes perfect sense

One last try: Apple has no way to know if you damaged your phone by using it beyond its rated 1 meter depth for 30 mins. Neither they, or the rest of us who would be stuck with higher Apple Care costs, want to pay for people who take the risk of doing extreme things with their phone. Under your theory, Apple would have to replace all the phones in the YouTube videos where people do things like drop them into a lake from a helicopter. Heck, everyone could get a new phone whenever they wanted one simply by immersing their phone deep enough or long enough. Independent testing has certified it for the intended benefit of use in the rain or accidental fall into the water and other "testing" has shown it can withstand much more than that. Don't be a Don Quixote.

Why you think they will believe you if you say "i used it like in the ads".
There is a reason they don't cover it in warranty.

Nice fanboy construction.

As an avid cyclist I have to say the changes to the iPhone 7 in terms of water and dust resistance will have little if any effect. Nearly every rider I know has invested in a cycle computer preferring to keep their phone in a jersey pocket or (more rarely) in a seat bag. Most road cyclists I've spoken with would say the #1 reason for having a phone is to have in case of an emergency. The last thing you want in an emergency situation is a iPhone whose battery is nearly dead because you've been using it with a cycling app. Personally, I use a Garmin 1000 (which has saved my bacon a half dozen times when I use it in conjunction with the Varia rear radar system) and keep my iPhone 6S safely stashed in my jersey pocket.

I wasn't going to upgrade but now I am, new iPhone 7 Plus 256Gb, Apple Watch S2, and a new 5k iMac (hopefully a 2016 model). This boy is haaaaaapy :)

does anyone know which bike mount is getting used? I looks like it works without a case which would be awesome.
[doublepost=1474294446][/doublepost]
great ads IMO. Surprised they are touting the water resistance so much given that it is not covered under warranty. Must be pretty confident. (Apple is already known to purposely understate water resistance capability)

edit: ps. putting a lot of trust in that bike mount. that dude is NUTS for not having a case on that thing.
do you know which bike mount he's using?

The first ad was pretty neat with good cinematography all around I think. I especially liked the timid deer at the end approaching him at a fuel station. I give Apple, and other quality phone makers, a lot of credit in the amount of technology they cram into these cameras and the high quality photos they produce.

I've been riding for a few years now regularly, I have logged about 3400 miles using Runtastic Road Bike and now Strava Apps as my tracker. I don't think I have ever considered buying a cycling computer, but I know I'm in the minority. I do also have friends in other states that ride more than me, and they also use Strava

You're so right! Lets have every company in the world advertise a product in a certain way, but not cover it under warranty when that feature is used! Sounds like a great idea genius! Apple sure is lucky to have a loyal customer like you defending them.

I used to use the Cyclemeter app on my iPhone all the time and logged thousands of mile both riding and walking but it was also a battery drain especially if I had the brightness turned up on a sunny day so I could take advantage of the GPS.

In case you're ever interested, Garmin and Strava partnered to bring Live Segments to their Edge 500, 800 and 1000 series cycle computers.
