Get used to the camera bulge everyone and especially no headphone jack. It'll be the norm within the next couple of years. It's either that or no phone.
Will be the norm for other devices

Samsung will bring in duel camera next year

Looks great. That camera bump will seamlessly integrate into the 3rd party cover market which will slide right up to it's edge giving you that flat feel with a bit thicker dampening rubber or other polymer the 3rd party implements for its cover designs.

For iPhone, yes. If you expect all other OEMs abandoning headphone jack for all phones they make, then no.

I sad repeatedly, even if I have to get cheap Android phone for headphone jack, I will get. I absolutely refuse buy any phone without headphone jack.

If to the point that headphone jack is no more, I will still not buy any headphone with proprietary connector.

If the future is digital connector replacing 3.5mm, then USB Type C or some short of open standard is way to go.

So if Apple insists using lightning headphone, then I will absolutely refuse buy iPhone. I also believe I am not alone.

So i can't charge my phone and listen to music through headphones at same time anymore??! What if I'm at a party and I wana play music into a stereo system? Car charging and using aux with radio? Apple you totally screwed us!

The camera looks worse because it's bigger and doesn't have that shiny edge.

THe opposite my friend. The ring was tacky as hell and the lense was not centered on radius which to a designer like myself make it look like an abobination. This time it speaks of a designer being on hand to guide people this time around.

The 6 series gave the impression that Ive and his crew were on vacation.

Wait until the keynote. We don't even know for sure if these rumors are accurate yet. If these rumors turn out to be true, there will certainly be workarounds. Apple certainly has considered the possibility of listening to music and charging your phone at the same time. For all we know, this phone could have wireless charging.

Most new audio receivers have Bluetooth capabilities, and if they don't, you can always pick up a little 3.5mm to Bluetooth adapter for pretty cheap to play music at parties.

Many people were upset when Apple transitioned from the large connector to the smaller lightning connector because of all their accessories, but we've all made the transition and now most people prefer the lightning connector.

Why do so many people care what a phone looks like vs. what it does. How shallow can you be - so if it did everything you ever wanted but wasn't beautiful because the camera sticks out you would think it was bad. What a shame. Do you folks wear it around your neck so people can see how pretty it is or other than using it sits in a case in a pocket or purse, etc.
Does it do what you want it to do. How about looking pretty but not functioning - I think you folks would prefer that.
One of the most ridiculous posst I’ve yet seen. Look around you, how many things do you choose because they look nice or have the right brand?
Your haircut, is it short. Do you style it when you go out, (assuming you have any), or do you leave it to cover your scalp as intended by nature?
How many pink cars would you buy?
Do you have stained clothes, (dirt doesn’t affect functionality)?

We are human and this is what we are like.

The free headphones we got with the Macbook Air I just bought for my daughter are really nice. Wireless, with a 12-hour battery life. But they are $300. Is that what they expect people to buy for their new phones? Or should we have to pay "only" $200 for the 6-hour battery life of the Beats 2 earbuds.

Oh, of course the Beats Solo has an audio cord so it doesn't HAVE to be wireless. It's just that the audio cord won't work with a lightning jack. And the charging of those $300 headphones also uses a non-lightning, non-USB-C micro-usb port. So...Great Job, Apple!

Let's remember the good old days...

Luckily for you and everyone who liked this image, i'm sure you can pick one up on eBay really cheap these days !

People here will never be happy.

If they remove the camera hump, the camera has to be smaller, and that means it has to be worse. You'd then all moan picture quality was inferior.

So, the other option is to make the iPhone larger. Then you'd all moan it was too thick and heavy.

A few things about the video that make me think the unit is a knockoff/fake:
1) that plastic sheet s certainly not the protector Apple puts on their phones. I don't know about preproduction runs but at least that's not a protector any consumer would ever see.
2)He doesn't appear to click any buttons but the screen is on and it appears very "flat" an has a lot of color saturation. Compare that with the real 6+ he shows that appears washed out and the saturation changes with angle while the prototype phone shows no color shift with angle change. I COULD be the next iPhone screen is really that good, but it looked more like a printout than an LCD screen to me.
3) The home screen appears static. Even with Mr. Blurrycam I think we'd see the parallax effect at least a little on the video.

Not saying it isn't a real next iPhone but it seems "off" in some very suspicious ways. It wouldn't take much work with a 3d printer and some paint/decals to make such a thing in a few days. Add in in the suspiciously low-res and it just doesn't add up for me.

I completely agree! Something about that screen looks...unreal!
