I'm just bummed that something changed in how  sends them out last year in that instead of delivery/release date arrival, Alaska (or at least me) customers get them about 5 days later. Both years ordered in first minute of availability...the free shipping now to AK delays arrival (25th estimate arrival).
Weird. My Watch has already passed through Alaska (departing Anchorage around 1am), and is on its way to warmer climates now. But packages that actually stay in Alaska take longer?

And meanwhile, I’m still getting the attached when I try to pre order. Accrd to Verizon it’s something their IT is supposedly working on, but doesn’t seem like anyone else has had these issues.

So are y’all searching by order number or phone number in the package shipment reference field? I ordered at 5:02am PT on Friday. Nothing found.
I've read that the order number works, but haven't tried (I recall something about starting with the "W" and dropping the last two digits - yep, just tried minus the last two digits, on the website, and that works). I signed up for UPS My Choice a while back (free), so when I heard that stuff was shipping, I just opened the UPS app and there it was.

(Once you're registered with UPS, they'll alert you to any inbound package to your name/address - you don't need to enter tracking numbers. Pretty useful. FedEx has something similar. Actually, so does USPS - "Informed Delivery".)

Does anyone have experience redirecting a UPS shipment to a “UPS Store” and whether doing so will delay receipt of the phone? I’ve read that if the request is to have the phone held at a non-UPS “depot”, there can be a delay. I’m just wondering whether these “UPS Stores” are considered UPS depots.

The system will give you an estimated delivery date before confirming. All UPS Stores I've ever tried add a business day.

Cargo plane full of iDevices on pallets stops in Alaska for refueling / customs. Then it flies on to somewhere in the lower-48 where those pallets are broken down for individual shipment.

So yes.

Does UPS require signature for this? Fedex usually requires them.
That's what my shipment is stating.

If you won't be around, redirect to a UPS store. It should let you, though if Apple makes some special stipulation who knows.

I’ve had the numbers punched into the MyChoice on UPS since preordering, it showed up automatically a few days later but still seeing the “details not available” when I click to track. Ordered through Verizon on launch day.

Spent around 15 Minutes trying to sign up for UPS My Choice. It's going from one screen to the next, every time requiring more personal data and new hoops to proceed to the next screen. Didn't look secure to me, or worth the effort. I'm in Europe.

I placed my preorder with Verizon directly - 11 Pro Max 256 in Silver. Got my shipping notification early this morning via FedEx, departing from West Chester, PA. I guess carrier devices are already in the country.

Is that the SIM card and not the iPhone?

Weird. Not how it works here in the US. Name, address, email, phone # if you want to provide it.

Omg! Fed-Ex just showed up at work with 11 pro midnight. Beautiful!! What a nice surprise on a Monday!! 

- The new iphones (as well as the previous gen) has two bezel antennae gaps in the top left corner near the camera.

The iphone in your photo has only one.

- Also the phone in your pic has a black border on the back, the new iphone has no border black on back (nor did the previous gen), it's just green.

- You also need to change to the color for metal frame from silver to green... the green phone has green backplate as well a green metal frame, not silver.

Haha...it was pretty well done, until you see where they tried to blend it. Well done though, good laugh!

I asked apple to change my shipping address twice, and did they do it...... nope. Thanks for nothing Apple
Get the UPS app, or FedEx app (whichever applies) and create an account with the address Apple is shipping to. Then, you can have it delivered to a pick up location for either one. I do this since I will be at work and unable to sign. Then I can run out and pick it up.
I also get it a lot sooner. Either company usually delivers to a pick up location by 11 am.

I always have packages requiring a signature dropped at a pick up location. There is a UPS store near my work. Plus, it comes much earlier in the day than it would at my home. I've never had a shipment delayed.
