New iPhone and Apple Watch Orders Begin Shipping From Apple Ahead of Friday's Launch Date

Apple has begun shipping out iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, and Apple Watch Series 5 orders ahead of Friday's launch date, ensuring customers will receive their devices on time.
Apple hasn't updated its own order system and many orders will say "Preparing to Ship" until later in the week, but customers in the United States who are receiving their devices via UPS can use the UPS My Choice feature for tracking purposes or track via reference number, such as an order number or a phone number.
Signing up for UPS My Choice is free and well worth it for those who want to keep an eye on their upcoming shipments.
If you've ordered a new device, shipment details should already be available, with iPhones and Apple Watches shipping from China and arriving in the United States.
Many iPhones and Apple Watch models have just recently shipped from China so there aren't a lot of tracking details available. In some cases, the date of arrival is listed as tentative, but in our experience, these tentative dates firm up later in the week and those who pre-ordered early can count on a September 20 arrival date.
Some iPhone 11 Pro and Pro Max models, especially in the Midnight Green color, sold out quick and even those who pre-ordered early weren't able to get launch day arrival. Apple often ends up managing to ship devices earlier than promised, so those expecting October arrivals could get their iPhones earlier.
The iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max will be officially available on September 20, and those who weren't able to get one may be able to pick up a new iPhone in store on that date.

Very Disappointed in my Apple Online store experience. I ordered 2 iphone 11 pro max, one green one space gray at 8:10am EST on 9/13 and I immediately got a date of 10/1 - 10/4 and here i am 3 DAYS later and Verizon's website says I can get the green on 9/27. WTF?? Lesson learned next time I buy from Verizon. Thumbs down to Apple Online store... not that they care.
- The new iphones (as well as the previous gen) has two bezel antennae gaps in the top left corner near the camera.

- Also the phone in your pic has a black border on the back, the new iphone has no border black on back (nor did the previous gen), it's just green.
- You also need to change to the color for metal frame from silver to green... the green phone has green backplate as well a green metal frame, not silver.
Does anyone remember High School where the mean girls would pick on the girls with homemade or bargain store clothes? And we'd look at those girls and think how terrible they are?... Seriously guys, that's what you sound like right now. You're picking apart a picture of a phone like you've got nothing better to do. I'm sure you're all perfectly lovely individuals but... damn... just let it go.

I was not disappointed.
Today they moved my preorder date from 20th of sep to 1-3 oct.
Tomorrow I will call them and unleash hell upon them.
I finished preorder in one minute after they opened it. Phones were still available for 20th half an hour after I finished!
Interesting. Fedex pulls them up but shows no info at all about actual shipping data. Just says pending. Good to know theyre fedex.
Pro tip - use the zip code EXACTLY as it appears on your order. I just tried the 5 digit and it didn't work until I added the dash and last 4 digits that appeared on mine.

Glad to hear some things are getting pushed back to later dates (mine hasn't...yet). Most likely good for my $AAPL
Who cares about getting notified of delivery. Lol. When that driver hands the box to me that’s all the notification I need. The fun is in tracking it inch by inch as it makes its way across the world.
sometimes a delay just means they are making sure it doesn't come early.

I ordered mine on Sunday through AT&T's upgrade portal and was able to get a Space Gray Pro Max with a Friday, September 20 delivery date luckily
I am partial to UPS. I live right next to a hub and often I am on the earliest stops 
Also, I am showing home delivery on Friday not available for some models but store pickup is available (meaning a guaranteed reservation.)
