New iPhone and Apple Watch Orders Begin Shipping From Apple Ahead of Friday's Launch Date

I am hopeful that my phone looks to be in the US at least!!! LOL

Anyone out there order thru TMobile? Any news?

Ordered 4:45am on the 13th... card charged no updates though. Betting they ship tonight.

Still hoping no new updated tracking info yet but says in Transit and scheduled for Friday 9/20 still. Hoping it updates on Thursday and it gets to the US and then arrives Friday.

I’ve never ordered from Apple before. Mine still says preparing for shipment but that I’ll get it on the 20th. Is that normal?

Everyone needs to relax! I’m sure all the phones are in the states; sitting on a pallet, waiting to be scanned. This happens all the time with both UPS and FedEx. I’m sure everyone; in one batch, will see their shipments moving in the US at some point this morning. Tomorrow everyone will have their brand new iPhone 📱 like promised. Mine has been stuck in China since the 16th.

UPS and FedEx are fully capable of delivering iPhones on launch day, and could care less whether they are spread out or delivered all on the same day.

Very normal. This happens every year. It will stay in preparing until late today. My order just moved to “shipped” within the last hour.

I didn’t get a notice but my order on the Apple app says “shipped” now with a tracking number. I think everyone should see changes by late tonight.

Alright people. If you’ve ordered online before then you know today is the day where you should see order statutes change. It happens at different times for everybody so STAY CALM people. Don’t let other peoples order statues frustrate. By late tonight or EARLY tomorrow you should see changes.

Order status just changed within the last hour or so. Tracking still shows China but that’s normal. Changes in tracking usually show late the night before or EARLY the morning of. That doesn’t mean the phone is still there it just means scanning hasn’t been updated. Don’t panic people! It’s happening :)

I ordered directly from AT&T. It looks like the phone was in the US since Sunday.

Strange so UPS hasn’t updated tracking info still as it appears its in china, what’s strange is that its still set for tomorrow delivery (Friday) and apple just said my order has shipped but no updated tracking. Does this mean apple thinks its in the US?

No. Apple and UPS are separate but they are working together. This happens every year. Once Apple ships it, UPS has it from there.

It's already shipped. Apple just hasn't updated their site. If you go to UPS.com and look up your order by reference using your phone number you will see it

If UPS says its still in China, its still in China. Most of the time it will go from China to Alaska to the US mainland and then to your doorstep within 24 hours

It hasn’t updated in 3 days says in transit and said it was last in china 9-16 hasn’t updated since but says still on for Friday.
 
Is there no option to print a signature form this year for UPS. Can't seem to find it.
