I got charged today morning from my carrier(t-Mobile), hope they will ship it soon and get to on 20th if not before :)

Email from UPS. Delayed delivery. Stuck in Inchon.
Exception Reason: We've submitted documentation to a Government agency and are awaiting a response.

Ordered iPhone 11 Pro directly from Verizon around 8am EDT on 9/13. Already shipped and is sitting in PA waiting to be delivered on Friday. Verizon has never caused me any problems FWIW.

How were you able to track? I still haven't got any tracking info from ATT.

Hi everyone!:)
Ordered my :apple: iPhone 11 Pro Max 512GB midnight green exactly when stored opened online.
Status today is still "preparing shipping" grrrrrr.... but with arrival date 20th of September so this friday. How can that be?
I am definitely nervous! ;)
Cheers from Switzerland

That sucks! cheers from Switzerland

Orders will be in "preparing for shipment" until late Thursday. It's always been like that because they want everyone to ship at the "same time" so to speak.

Ohhhhh yeah! This happens when the phones get stuck at customs. I haven't seen where it delays the shipping. Most of those emails are generated based on UPS systems, not Apple.

Verizon sent me an email saying it was shipped. The order history on my Verizon account online has the tracking number as well. Additionally, I have a FedEx Delivery Manager account (same thing as UPS My Choice) which notifies me every time a package is shipped to my address.

UPS said You’re package may be delayed “. Still shows the 20th. 11 Pro, 512GB Midnight

Yeah all of those messages are auto generated. That's why I try to stay off of UPS and Apple during launch week because the auto messages will frustrate you.

sometimes a delay just means they are making sure it doesn't come early.
Whoops spoke too soon. UPS! Using the extra digits helped find it.

Interesting. Fedex pulls them up but shows no info at all about actual shipping data. Just says pending. Good to know theyre fedex.

Pro tip - use the zip code EXACTLY as it appears on your order. I just tried the 5 digit and it didn't work until I added the dash and last 4 digits that appeared on mine.
Double whoops - this thread. Mine actually UPS.

Exciting for some. I'm just bummed that something changed in how  sends them out last year in that instead of delivery/release date arrival, Alaska (or at least me) customers get them about 5 days later. Both years ordered in first minute of availability...the free shipping now to AK delays arrival (25th estimate arrival). First world problems I know, but I'd pay extra if they let me to get them on release date.
It may be due to the tariffs than now need to be paid. There w
I asked apple to change my shipping address twice, and did they do it...... nope. Thanks for nothing Apple
You probably requested the change after your order was already being prepared to ship. The time window allowed for order or shipping changes is usually pretty narrow.

Thanks for enforcing standard credit card fraud prevention measures, Apple.
Not necessarily. The shipping address is independent from the credit card's billing address (i.e., you can have an order shipped to an address other than your credit card's billing address, in which case you will have to enter the billing address separately for verification purposes). Unless both the shipping and billing addresses are the same, the shipping address isn't used for card verification purposes.

I placed my preorder with Verizon directly - 11 Pro Max 256 in Silver. Got my shipping notification early this morning via FedEx, departing from West Chester, PA. I guess carrier devices are already in the country.
My Sprint Order of my 11 Pro Max also first showed the United States. Mine hasn't updated since but makes sense the carrier versions are already in the States

Actually they probably are not. What you got was the label for UPS in the states. The phones are all still coming from China, What you are waiting on is Apple to ship it to your carrier's awaiting label here in the US.

For those of you that are stressing. I think I found one of our iPhone flights. You can breathe now, the phones are moving through the sky as we speak/stress. LOL!!

Anyone who ordered from ATT received a tracking number? Are they shipping Fed Ex or UPS?

I ordered from Apple this year; however, I have ordered from AT&T multiple times in the past and have always got my Fedex tracking number 1-2 days prior to the delivery.

Nice find! This is exciting as from my previous experience I see some of us that ordered via At&t will get our tracking numbers tomorrow once the shipments have come off of the plane(s) and added into the FedEx system. This is when the shipping labels are created. Then they will ship out Thursday via overnight for delivery on the 20th.

Just left Incheon, KR. Stayed there 18 hours. If I recall past years it should hit Alaska next.

Love when tracking shows stuff like this. My iPhone left ZhengZhou, arrived at ZhengZhou 15 minutes later. (This was the departure from warehouse to airport staging.) Then it left ZhengZhou, only to arrive in Incheon, Korea 1 minute later. Yet UPS’ non-detailed tracking still has it in ZhengZhou. The curiosity is, will it actually fly to Alaska from Incheon or ZhengZhou.

My iPhone has departed Incheon. It was scanned out at 4:21 AM (tomorrow) KST. Searching on FlightAware, there's only one flight that departed around that time with a destination of Anchorage. It's Atlas Air 8160. This appears to be a contract flight (at least by UPS, but could have more carrier's palettes, too.) This flight's takeoff was scheduled to depart at 4:22 KST and was marked as departed by the airport at 4:20 AM. (And there wasn't another flight from the airport within many hours on either side.) FlightAware says the flight departed fifteen minutes early. So, unless the iPhone is going somewhere else, this is likely my plane.

I got that too. In fact, it looks like mine has bounced back and forth between Zenghzhou, China and Incheon, Korea. I’m surprised they’re doing individual shipments from China. Why not ship these things on pallets to a warehouse in the US and then distribute them to the end customer?

You'd think they could set aside some Alaska boxes into specific pallets so while it makes a pit stop they just take those off the plane.

Still, these shipments make their way into the US for sorting days ahead of release and they're dispersed across the contiguous US for launch day deliveries and Apple store launches. They can't get them to Alaska on time? Does Amazon prime support Alaska?

This isn't an entitlement thing, I'm just curious how they're not currently making that happen.

(I'm not in Alaska so I have no stock in Apple actually getting this done.)

We do get prime, just not the one day variety. Although, on more than one occasion, I've ordered with free Prime shipping, and it's on my doorstop the next day.

Apple Store Anchorage will have on launch day, just not at home orders. (Well, mine at least. I don't live in ANC, can't/won't speak for everyone else). No biggie, of course. I'm not going to get hot under the collar about it.

Congrats! At least yours looks like it's moving. My UPS ship screen looks the same this evening (Tuesday, 9/17) as it did early Monday morning. Still stuck in Zhengzhou and no date change or movement. Still on track to deliver for the 20th though.

I hope so but I haven't seen anything official so I'm not holding my breath.

I would be shocked if T-Mobile actually did that. It sounds like bad information.

T-Mobile definitely charged me. But the phone hasn't shipped. Nor has my order status changed from "Pre-ordered"

Yep, that was definitely the flight. iPhone is now in Anchorage.
