Good point, in fact "MacRumors" may have jumped the gun here as, if you read the whole thread (which currently ends here: http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/showthread.php?t=309080&page=25 ) you will see that despite the quote on Apple's own spec page the inclusion of vibration is far from certain. Many contributors on that forum agree that the object indicated in the picture is unlikely to be a vibration motor because of its appearance and placement and is more likely to be some other, unidentified component. Furthermore, when posters have asked Apple's own "experts" about the issue, they have received a mixed response with some confirming and others emphatically denying that the new iPT4 has vibration at all. The quote on Apple's own spec page has been largely dismissed as a copy/paste error from the corresponding page for the iPhone 4.

This is not to say that there definitely isn't vibration on the new iPod; only that its existence has yet to be confirmed...even by a consensus of Apple employees themselves.

Have you had a look at the Apple iPod Touch Accessibility page linked to in the OP of this thread?

That's no "copy/paste error" on a minor specifications page, that's a key accessibility feature designed for use of sign language by the deaf. This is one of the cornerstones of Apple's strategy to implement FaceTime as the new standard of videoconferencing software.

Oops! I apologize, I was mistaken. Scrumper was correct.

Surprised the mods have not corrected, locked or deleted this thread as the title is wrong.
