I'm really looking froward to a new direction for Bond. The last offering was a joke - two much "show" and not enough substance. It's time we had a bit more grit and intrigue. So a little Layer Cake influence wouldn't go amiss.

To be honest id love to see what Tim Burton could do if he directed the next Bond film.

No one has seen Daniel Craigs portrayal of him yet, hold back judgement until you do...I really think he could pull it off nicely.hookahco said:i want the old bonds.. when sean connery and pierce brosnan walked into a room you could see in their eyes that they were conniving, witty, manipulative womanizers that got whatever they wanted..
i guess your right.. if we mixed brosnan with craig i think we'd have one hell of a bondXtremehkr said:I just hope the script gets better as well. Brosnan was a little too polished to be a Bond. Daniel Craig actually looks like he could handle himself in a fight.
Thanks for taking the time out to sharefklehman said:So there's a new Bond...man I don't care.
wordmunger said:Sigh... the first Bond younger than me. Had to happen sometime, I suppose. In fact, he may well be the first Bond actor younger than the James Bond series (which started in 1962). Anyone know?
At least he cared enough to read the thread, hit the post reply button, and type out some words.edesignuk said:Thanks for taking the time out to share![]()

no one's going to be better than sean connery...was.

and it's not like he's THAT old or anything....I say we go back to basics.
anyone with me?
I agree. I just saw Layer Cake the other day and whoooowee, I did not think that Daniel Craigs was Bond-material until I saw that move. Hee.edesignuk said:No one has seen Daniel Craigs portrayal of him yet, hold back judgement until you do...I really think he could pull it off nicely.
jeffy.dee-lux said:bah.... the actor's only just as important as the car he drives...
what do you guys think? Most people are saying it'll be the AMV8

i don't believe it would be the first time he'd be driving one of those...

oops, nevermind. while looking for pics for this post, i see that the AMV8 has been confirmed as bond's next ride:

i think it would be cool if he drove one of Fisker's new cars... fisker being the dude that designed the AMV8, the DB9, the Z8 (which bond also drove) amongst many other of the world's finest cars. He just started his own car company called Fisker Coachbuild, and believe me, his cars are bond worthy.
here's the latigo, based of the 6 series:

Of course i suppose it would only be proper if he drove a true brittish car.
jeffy.dee-lux said:i'm afraid the second aston in my post, the old one, was actually already a bond car. Maybe that picture wasn't as flattering as it could be. I think its one of the coolest bond cars, kinda like brittain's take on the mustang, i love the driving lights...
