Which has the most incorrect pictures of a MacBook being charged upside down? How was this never caught...

Apple are victims of their own processor IP sucess

Now I hope they focus as much on battery and display tech as they have on their processors

That’s where the next big changes to power consumption battery life and longevity will come from… and display improvements.

Well I was asking for a 15" MBA with the MBP screen and more ports, I guess this was one way to give it to me. Still gotta upgrade the RAM or go M3 Pro to get the Space Black if interested but seeing such a cheap MBP option is nice to see. Glad they did away with the 13" MBP that thing just didn't make any sense.

Was thinking about the iMac....they make it so thin they can't put the bigger chips in it that need serious heat ventilation equipment, so no CPU up-selling for them - that's a bummer.
There's no reason they can't change that. A bit of a redesign, but not that much.

I actually don't mind 24", it would be a good size for me, but I need better specs!

I doubt anyone with M1 or M2 chips will be envious about M3

There’s some nice performance increase and architecture changes to GPU but for the vast majority of users… you won’t be missing out much

And all because Apple silicon is so fast to begin with… M1 is still awesome

No wonder they are happy to leave MacBook Airs on M2… for such bursty workload systems there is no real benefit.
Bravo!
the macbook air M1 is very fast and hopefully the m1 macmini too!

I used to design and create websites last decade and would feel way too much pressure to finish 50% faster
as they claimed how fast these are especially for coding.

use software like SwitchResX to set a 16:10 resolution (theres native retina ones built in still) and the notch goes away

Thanks for the suggestion, but relying on software to fix hardware issues are never the solution.
I just want to buy a MacBook Pro with NO Notch out of the box, or it's NO DEAL.

To be fair, they just released the 15” M2 Air in June. It’s not like they’re going to update it so soon after or only update the 13”.

The biggest change this year is for people who wanted the 14” screen and ports but don’t need the power of a Pro/Max chip. The battery life for those folks essentially went up from 17h/18h to 22h.

Such lacklustre products.

8gb of memory in a 'Pro' computer is a scam. $200 for 512 more gigabytes of storage is a scam. No upgraded Magic accessories is a huge disappointment. No new Smart Folio colours, even!

It feels like Mac hardware is quickly falling behind, just like it was in ~2016–2019 — boring overpriced computers for a very niche audience of videographers. PC is catching up on power efficiency, PC offers huge amounts of RAM and storage essentially for free, PCs are getting higher-quality OLED displays, and PC is usually ahead when it comes to performance (depending on the workload, of course).

Apple built a lot of goodwill with M1, but they can't milk it forever.

And how dare they say that MacBook Pro is built to last when it comes with soldered storage? It's an e-waste right out of the box and they know it 🥲
