You are giving me hope...
I see no way for MB to be upgraded without MBP. High-end MB is already very similar (CPU, standard RAM) to a MBP. Any upgrade would mean that for a while cheaper MacBooks will have better specs than more expensive MacBook Pros. Not happening.
I doubt one of the updates is a Mac Mini for the following reason:
The placeholder indicates the language of each Mac. In other words, the computer needs a keyboard for it to have a specific language. Briefly put, we're looking at laptops only.

I say it's 1 Macbook, 1 Macbook Pro, and 4 dicks.

but remember 16Gb iPod nano was a last minute descision by apple (to counter Zune) but COO told Product Transition and 30% margin drop during quartely conference call which was way before they know Zune Prices ...
Or the default install mode can be in that language.
depends... could be instant or it could be as long as a month. just gotta wait for the announcement.
I was also thinking about that possibility, but doesn't Leopard have all languages built in?

What? I hope you don't mean that if the "announcement" comes on October 14th, as predicted, that they might not be available until November?

New "features" of the new MacBooks and MacBook Pros:
MacBook:
Aluminium
LED-display
No more Intel Integrated graphics card
16:9 ratio display
Faster processors and bigger storage hard drives
Glass trackpad?
Black frame around the display like the aluminium iMac
Base model: $999 and all other models are $200 cheaper.
MacBook Pro:
User-replaceable hard drive
Magnetic latch
16:9 ratio display
Faster processors and bigger storage hard drives
New design
MacBook Air keyboard
Base model: $1799 and all other models are $200 cheaper.
I am predicting.
The macbook, macbook pro, and macbook air are all due for updates because intel has released hardware updates. We will see 2 of each, 2*3=6.
A source has said that the update will be all about the "brick". There are also rumors of there being a thinner design for the macbook and macbook pro, I think Apple is making the optical drive external.

Sure does. Just for kicks, I just now went into my system prefs and changed my system language to German. It instantly gave the next system message auf Deutsch. Natürlich!![]()
I'll still buy it..its still usable...just as a programmer, I like my vertical space.
Speed bumps on the macbooks and MBP and we then again wait!
Yep, there we go! The languages specified definitely mean a keyboard is included.
