My bet is on a massive update.

There are currently 3 computers that are do for an update (historically)

I predict... Drum roll

New MacBook Pros
New iMacs
and
New Mac Minis or something to replace them

Lets all hope this is true :D

Heck, I predict every single one of Apple's products. That way I win no matter what!

But yea secretly I'm starting to think that both the MacBook and MacBook Pro will get an update. No way will they update MacBooks before the MacBook Pros so either way it seems the MBP (what I care about) will see an update. Both would be nice however, I just bought AAPL today ;)

You just bought AAPL? you make it sound like tomorrow is a breakthrough showcasing. Dont be surprised if it drops i mean an update to a laptop will not push aapl out of the slums it is currently in. 198 top of the year 119 today?
buying of speculation is the worst thing you can do. There is really no momentum going with apple right now and it wont be until the highly anticipated iphone 2 comes out till then aapl will under perform. But anyways good luck.

The days of buying before an aapl release was last year rode that wave like a champ so many great runs so much money made ohh the good ol times..too bad this current bear market is tough to analyze.

I didn't buy because of tomorrow but the stock is severely undervalued and with time investors will realize that. I'm betting on $150 in the coming months. Anyway, that's a discussions for another thread. New MBPs baby, yea!

There has been a lot of discussion so I did some research in our inventory system. They are currently on order along with Time Capsules. We were expecting Time Capsules for this Sunday's Ad, but Apple had a late PO. We are not going to be receiving them until the second half of this current week.

The new MBP's are also on order. Usually when something is "on order" we see it within the next two weeks. There is no definite arrival date. Those model #'s are correct and maybe someone can do some digging and find details on the 'net.

I believe this guys as the 500GB TIMECAPSULE was clearly in Best Buy's Sunday Ad as available.....

How's the crow?

Can someone please explain to me why so many people who have only made one previous post normally comes on here and posts the

Oh i know when there going to be released stuff?

Hmmm - I guess you jumped to conclusions "oldbie". Pfft.

A 26 P/E ratio is undervalued?

Apple is undervauled, not overvalued. It got hit along with everything in the stock market, and investors bawked at the MBA. If i had a decent amount of cash to invest AAPL would be a great investment right now.

I didnt want to continue to read through all the speculation, hating, taunting, whatever else that's in this thread, so I'll just leave my two cents, which someone else has probably already posted.

Has anyone considered that Best Buy might have added the wrong SKU's by marking what might be a MBP a MB? It's only three letters that are omitted, but it makes a world of difference. I used to work in the Best-Buy retail business (for AAFES, though), and many a time in the computer ordering system, when the ever-powerful Corporate Buyer would add something, usually some part of the discription was wrong or missing. It still surprises me that with how far we've come with Internet-based ordering, that big-box retail stores still use DOS-based UI's.

We all know, by the rumblings in these threads, that SOMETHING will be released- let's all just get a good nights sleep and be surprised tomorrow! We all know how Apple operates, and they won't change- they keep things under wraps and then pounce it on you unexpectedly.

I will be just as disappointed as everyone if what is released tomorrow is just an updated MacBook and not a re-designed MacBook Pro... but I'll be even more saddened if nothing gets released tomorrow. However I'll just wait for the announcement- then I will make an intelligent critique based on real products- not here-say and computer generated Best-Buy orders.

KCUF that :)

Im all for the surprise tomorrow, doubt I will sleep though :)
also as according to this http://www.engadget.com/2008/02/25/yep-new-macbook-part-numbers-are-in-best-buys-database/ it says on the receipt its a mobile computer, so its either mb or mbp, probably mbp, because its the longest overdue.

That's not a receipt. That picture is a printout from Best Buy's inventory system. It says it has an "in stock" date of 3/2. Don't rely on that, MacBook Air had an "in stock" date of 1/8 in our systems and we didn't receive them until almost a month later. ;)

I'm going to sleep wonderfully and be pleasantly surprised when the store opens up!

I have class at 8:00 am CST and get up at 6:00 CST, so usually by the time I get to class, it's already back open!

I can't wait to see whatever we get tomorrow! (I just hope it's the MBP.)

Everyone seems to say 30 days. You people need to just enjoy the things you already purchased. It's not like you have a sub-standard product.

Dear Steve Jobs:

Statistically, a total overhaul of the entire MBP line is way, way, WAY overdue. I would LOVE to see some inner and outer innovations that'll draw both up-graders and first timers into the Apple fray.

Is it Tuesday yet? - rva1

MBP_iDC2.0_250gbHD_2gbR

Pretty please?

The Quadro FX 3600M has a Thermal Design Power of 70 Watt.
