New MacBook Pro UK Shipping Times

My "Current delivery status" has just changed from the 10th to the 11th. I assume this is the date it is due at the UK distribution centre ie today. I guess therefore delivery is likely to be tomorrow or Thursday.

same old same old - still no mention of a tracking number. It's been 16 days today for my 3-5 day delivery :(

:( Wow really?! that long.

I ordered mine on the 2nd so "only" 9 days and 7 business days. Hopefully I'll get it sooner but my status still hasn't updated.

For the second time: Wensday IF we got a change of status by 5pm monday!
All we can hope for is change of status by 5pm tonight...
And don't balme it on me
1)Its apple doing the shipping remember ?
2)I'm also waiting for my mbp to arrive so I am as gutted as you guys are!

I've just downloaded a widget for the dashboard that tells you when stuffs being delivered.

Applecare: In transit to customer - shipment on schedule - delivery date unknown
BE.EZ Bag: In transit to customer - shipment on schedule - delivery 17th november
MBP 15.4/CTO: Shipped! - delivery 17th november


Is it just me or does this look like bad news for my alleged thursday delivery date......

(Looks like the macbook hasn't even arrived in this country yet - i do wish there was another site like apecode so I could find out what is actually happening)

On the Apple Order status (the one you get when you sign in without using the bridge-point tracking thing) I get 18th-19th Delivery date . . . I've got sooo many dates, this is ridiculous.

I used to get 11 - 17th I now get 11 - 15th

I NEEDED the Mac yesterday - I NEED it for Monday latest - (and that means up and running)

It's a complete farce, we pay professional money for a professional machine, to be used for professional work - yet we get the service of monkeys :mad:

I just got of the phone with apple and they said my package is in luxemburg!
(and that I should recieve it between now and the 14th!)
So my best guess is since the the first wave of mb's has already passed, they dont send it to the UK distribution center anymore... They got to luxemburg then TNT or UPS dirrectly to the UK.
but looking at the facts, even if it is sent today it will take min 3 day to be deliverded to me, so 11+3=14th is the date Ill get it! Cant believe everyone on this forum said they got it 2-3 days before the estimate!
I a bit confused now, but even more annoyed at apple!:mad:

Tell me about it. I had a presentation today and have had to borrow a laptop (after redoing my presentation on it because I forgot to leave my iMac on and couldn't get the file off it. What a chore. I'm lucky I don't have any meetings with clients this week, cus i'd look really unprofessional having to say "can i borrow one of your laptops/computers"

It did say subject to change and its no where near the 17th yet, so blaming Apple is a bit silly.







Of course this doesn't get elmancho out of his meeting with Mr Baseball Bat on Thursday for getting hopes up :D

Yeah but 18-19 is still a bit more than 5/7 business days considering today is the 7th business day.
 
UPDATE:

Nichole from Apple (Ireland) has just told me on the phone there is a problem with the shipment. She apologised for the delay and told me that it won't be delivered now until the 15th. KNOWING they don't deliver on saturdays I double checked this with her and she hesitated and said 'in that case no it should be the 14th' (Fishy?)
Anyway on the 14th I need to check the trackment page, and if it says out for delivery it will be delivered that day.

Hmmmmm I will see what Apple say in bout 30mins. I'll take an early "break" lol.
