if you read a few [ages back I've asked the same question, but I got no answer.
Out of excitement and impatience I just try to go to my shipment page from my homepage every time... Its getting quite annoying!

i just did that..... it took ages to load.....

nothing's changed though, it's 4 o'clock surely they know by now!!!

I beg to differ - everything I've ordered in the last 2 years has come via UPS.

Northern England.
Ok, what it is is that when the order is a "merge in transit" they get sent from there to the costumer via TNT. Read the rest of the thread if you want more proof (even though redaing >1000 post might be quite discouraging!

i guess i should face facts i'm probably not receiving my macbook this week
when i click on track order i get this
Estimated Delivery Date (Subject to change) 15 Nov 2008 (Subject to change)
this is when the All dates are displayed in the time zone 'local to the event'.
When changed to British time i get the 14th Nov 2008
after having read this thread previously (3 this morning haha) i realised that apple do not work alongside with TNT on a Saturday, meaning that the mac will actually be here, more accurately, on monday. I'm really regretting buying my mac online with a student discount. Wish I'd have paid the full price and received it from the shop the same day rather than a month later

Stepping out of the shadows...

I've been watching this thread with interest since ordering my MBP (2.53/320@7200 with assorted paraphernalia) on the 29th.

This morning my shipping status changed to:
Shipped to SOMEWHERE, GB 07 Nov 2008
Estimated Delivery Date: 17 Nov 2008 (Subject to change)
Current Delivery Status: Uplift, 10 Nov 2008

I haven't seen any mention of this "uplift" status before, could someone shed any light on it please?

FYI, I've got 4 numbers down the side of that page, 2 of which being the same (Order and PO numbers; W***) the others are "Additional Order Number" (709***) and "Our shipping ref" which in an 808*** number. The carrier tracking number is listed as the ever helpful "In transit to final destination - carrier details to be updated shortly."

As expected none of the numbers work with TNT but the US apple store identifies Syncreon Technology and Kuhne & Nagel Spedition as the current carriers.

I'm aware I probably won't receive any useful tracking info until it's almost delivered, but I'm wondering how accurate the estimated delivery date of the 17th is and whether anyone knows the steps in the chain between "uplift" and delivery.

Ok thanks. Its a shame their tracking page isn't very clear.

. . . I bet when it arrives something will be wrong with it. lol.

so much for 5-7 days delivery.

just so everyone knows, according to tnt, my package was sent out for delivery at about 8 am this morning. So I should definitely get it today.
