Just got off the phone with a helpful Scottish lady at Apple. Apparently my mbp is in Luxembourg (where it was last time I rang), and is due to get to England tomorrow and be delivered on Friday. I won't get my tracking number until it has got to England, and been picked up by the courier (i.e. tomorrow). She didn't mention any delays, and this is within my estimated delivery time.

This sounds pretty reasonable to me and means I can stop checking my status every five minutes and get on with some work!

So hyper lol its lovely bit of kit, feels very solid and worth the money... no issues with wonky keys or marks on the casing/screen.

The only stati I've had have been "Prepared for shipment", "Shipped" and now the purgatory of "Uplift".

Ordered my 2.53 w/ CTO 320@7200HD on the 29th, scheduled for delivery on the 17th but at the moment I don't see that happening as no-one else has had this sodding status and it still needs to be merged with my software and iPod!!!

Is it the 0870 *** 0753 number then option 5?

Are you talking about the "Order Shipped" email? My emails from do_not_reply_blah[AT]euro..com initially ended up in my junk mail - have you checked yours?

Wow, snap! Ordered the exact same CTO laptop the exact same day and I too have 'uplift' as the status.
I rang Apple yesterday and was told it would arrive in the UK this weekend and arrive to me next Wednesday ish. I told the guy I was furious and will consider canceling. The guy was surprised I wasn't happy to wait 3 weeks for a laptop. I might love Apple products but I feel I have been let down.

What bugs me is that I ordered it on the 29th and was told it would be '7 working days'. By the time it arrives it will have been 15 working days and 3 full weeks. And the fact they even quote 'working days' is ridiculous - the thing needs to be shipped from China... how could 'working days' affect shipping? Its just a tactic so they dont have to say '10' days' etc.
