I think the store will look like this...

128 MB was plenty...3 years ago.WTF?? 128MB is plenty. There was a time not so long ago that 128MB of computer main memory was enough. But computer-wise, seven years seems to be forever.
Hell, I remember the times when I had a super nice Trident GPU with 512kB of video ram, user upgradeable to full megabyte!! That was in the early 90's when today's hardcore gamers were not even born yet.
Oh, well today the image looks 500x better than back then. Must be because of 500x more memory![]()
help me out here, are we seeing santa rosa or not?
awesome! one last question (first mac purchase as running from a g4 powermac i was given) - think its worth buying one? would go for higher 15" model - needs to last me at least 4 years

I too am confused about the LED display as it is not mentioned directly on their site as an LED display. Also, thanks to all for clearing up the Santa Rosa question.
I just picked up the new 15" and even the folks at the store didn't know that they used LEDs. I will be returning mine tomorrow and trading in for a 17" as I believe that the new displays may have an issue. My 15" non-glossy has uneven brightness along the bottom of the screen. I don't know if this is just an issue with one unit or more. I have already contacted the store and asked them to tuck a 17" TFT away just in case.
While we had heard convincing reports that the MacBook Pro updates would have to wait until WWDC (June 11th), a few new reports have started trickling in that the MacBook Pro could see updates as soon as this Tuesday (June 5th).
Mac4ever.com (French) posts the following from a reseller (roughly translated):
This information alone would not necessarily be convincing, as resellers tend not to have much lead time on new products... but a few other tidbits we've heard lead us believe that this could be legitimate.
Sources are unclear if this will be the LED / Santa Rosa updates that users have been hoping for, and some sources still insist we will have to wait until WWDC for the new MacBook Pro.
