Pure assumption BUT if they release the macbook in september it's more likely that they will release the MBP at a different time. So I'll say tomorrow or the 5th of August.
So let's hope to see the Apple store "not available" tomorrow morning !

you know? you're absolutely positive that they'll be no macbook pro tomorrow?

well hello steve jobs, I didn't know you were here?

I'm not getting my hopes up just for them to be dashed every Tuesday.

If it comes out, all the better, since tomorrow's my last possible date of purchase.

I'm not expecting to be able to order a different MacBook Pro than the one available today.

Damn these threads. It's not gonna be tomorrow. It's not in the stars. :p

I know but iWant to believe as iNeed to replace my 1GHz Powerbook G4 with 768MB of RAM and 55GB of memory :(

And the MBP hasn't been upgraded since AGES !!

whenever the mbp update may be this summer, is it more likely to be a case redesign or just a processor upgrade?

in my opinion a slight redesign (keyboard, thinner design) and processor upgrade.

There can't be a processor upgrade. Current MBPs are already using Intel's latest and greatest. By that I mean the latest and greatest considering the thermal envelope the current MBP design can handle.

Otherwise, some prick will just come along and say .. "Ooooh, they're not using the X9000 C2Extreme" ...

;)
