Fingers crossed! Never had such a whirlwind of ups and downs with an order before! Shame the orders weren't sent out before the iPhone pre-sale rush....

Did any of the UK guys see my post earlier about o2/iPad data at all? Still having a nightmare with them.
 
I keep doing that search on Youtube but as someone mentioned above, the embargos are probably still on till monday

When one watched the video, am I crazy or will that trackpad replace all needs (potentially let's wait on reviews personal use) to touch the screen?

I mean watch the video, what gesture or action would still REQUIRE a touch??
 
I've been using a Magic Trackpad 2 with my 3rd gen 12.9 ipad pro, and it works beautifully. I'm really excited about this Magic Keyboard. I hope it arrives earlier than the 24th :)

I am currently using a 10 Euro case from Amazon, because I wanted to protect the Pro until the Magic Keyboard was available. This cheap thing even has a latch over the pencil.

As stated before, I am quite new to Apple, but from my perception, there was always put a lot of thought into their product design, which leaves me a bit irritated in this case.

Do I miss something here ("just put the pencil somewhere else" or "its either pencil or keyboard" does not qualify as "missing something") or is this just not...good?

What I do is stick my iPad Pro (currently mounted in the Smart Keyboard Case) with Pencil attached into a cheap zippered neoprene case I got years ago for a 12 inch laptop. The neoprene case then goes into my backpack or briefcase. This should also work fine with the IPP mounted in the Magic Keyboard with Pencil attached to IPP. With this arrangement my IPP is doubly protected by neoprene case and then backpack or briefcase and there is no chance that the Pencil will get lost, so long as I take the slightest modicum of care in removing the iPad from the neoprene case.

Man, no,kidding. Just the 512GB iPad and that keyboard in my cart with tax totals at $1,923.60

I’m pretty sure I read or saw somewhere that it’s just haptic feedback for “clicks”....

Mine is on its way, 8u17 it arrived at the last distribution Centre only 50miles from my home where it gets loaded on the delivery van. But when, when?! They have an afternoon delivery scheduled, but is this parcel going with it?

Oh wow! Where are you based and when did you order?

You’re the first person I’ve heard of having it actually shipped?!
 
Also, not sure if these are the real deal or not (as I can’t understand the language, can anyone translate?) but seems to be the first people receiving the keyboard....

Although, in the first video, when they close the lid, there’s no Apple logo like in the product images? Could be fake? 2nd video seems legit.

The logo is very faint though anyway so hard to tell

That seems to suggest a place to put the Apple Pencil?
