That seems to suggest a place to put the Apple Pencil?
I think he’s just inserted a CoverBuddy case inside the case (which allows holding of the pencil)? He’s live just now answering all questions in English.

It is the real deal haha. I'll upload a quick overview of the keyboard soon. Also, not sure if these are the real deal or not (as I can’t understand the language, can anyone translate?) but seems to be the first people receiving the keyboard....
Although, in the first video, when they close the lid, there’s no Apple logo like in the product images? Could be fake? 2nd video seems legit.
Ah so that’s how you can change the brightness on the keyboard...Aaah ok..at least we’re in the same boat!
Yeah true.
For anyone wanting to know more about it, this guyhas loads of separate videos up showing features!
This one shows the brightness settings within settings for the new keyboard!
And he’s LIVE now so you can ask questions here!!
The backlight keys are even better than i thought and the angles i think are far better than what the current ASK is like.

Awesome! Didn’t realise you were on here too! Great to see videos popping up. You should go live like the other guy?

It is automatic!
If there is a lot of interest, I could do a live! Didn't think there would be too many people in the audience haha
Is the trackpad haptic or is it a diving board style click? It is automatic!

Can you rest iPad in portrait? Like use buttons to hold it up against the back?
Nope, it wouldn't connect to the smart connector
it's a mechanical click (not taptic engine) but it does click evenly for the entire pad, not just at the bottom (diving board style?)Is the trackpad haptic or is it a diving board style click?
haha yep, exactly!oh yeah... duh... u less you wanna use as a stand without keyboard use lol
Great stuff so based like auto brightness. Makes senseIt is automatic!

never mind, apparently you have to have 1000 subscribers to do a live stream...Going to start a live session in about 10 minutes, if anyone is interested!!
I was waiting for this.never mind, apparently you have to have 1000 subscribers to do a live stream...
The other guy only had 88 subcribersnever mind, apparently you have to have 1000 subscribers to do a live stream...

Man, that sucks. Are you sure? That other guy is doing a live stream and only has 90 followers? Asked on YouTube but: Is there any way to store or charge the pencil other than the normal attach to the iPad edge? Can you control volume or audio/video controls via keyboard?
Would you say the keyboard is a lot heavier than the Smart Keyboard?yeah, since I've never done a live sessions before, it requires 1000 subs on Youtube iOS app or wait 24 hours on the website. sigh...
To answer your question, the only way to charge the pencil is through the wireless charging connector at the top of the ipad (when attached to the keyboard), the keyboard itself does not provide a way to charge the pencil.
There is no way (that I know of) to control the volume on the keyboard.
