New Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro Now Available to Order, Deliveries Begin Next Week

Can’t wait to get mine now even more...
I really want this thing but yeah, cant justify that price tag. Honestly I could barely justify the keyboard folio to begin with, but since i spent that on launch day of my 2018 iPad Pro, I dont see how I could responsibly now spend another 350 on a keyboard for a device I already bought an over priced keyboard for.
It’s ambient controlled and manual controls just in regular Settings as far as I know...
I’m hoping there is something hidden behind a long press on screen brightness, similar to accessing AirPod pro noise cancelling.
I suppose my next concern is, do USB hubs that attach directly into the port (like Hyper) work with this case as well?
No, the don’t. It is only to power your ipad. But you can connect a hub to the iPad itself.
That's what I mean. If it fits into the iPad's port while the case is on? Wasn't referring to that hinge port.
Why wouldn't it? The sides are not covered at all (same as with the current Apple iPad Keyboard case).
I’m also still waiting. We’ll be lucky if it ships during the night tomorrow. I’m telling myself it’s going to arrive Tuesday as my delivery estimate is 20-22 April.
After seeing the videos I’m sure this purchase will satisfy and be on point for what I want.
I’m glad it looks study and in fact a bit weighty.
And talk about being influenced and being ready to drop more dollar I’ve gone and order a CoverBuddy!

Arrives on 22nd.
I ordered within the first 10 mins to USA.

Mine is also still estimating a 20-22 April delivery date, but starting to look like that might end up being 22 or later?
Haha why do you need a CoverBuddy?? I had a look at those but doesn’t look like they have a 2020 version that I could find? Where did you order from?

I ordered mine today, ships first week in May. I waited on purpose. I figure that by the time mine ships, there will be reviews out. If I don’t like what I see, I’ll cancel the order. If I had waited until after the reviews dropped and it’s awesome, delivery times will likely slip into June and July. I’m not traveling anywhere anytime soon. I can wait a couple of weeks.
Usually when I preorder stuff from Apple they don’t change to “shipped” until Sunday night and then they show up the next day or two.

I am still hopeful it will be within that window! Got the CoverBuddy from the manufacturer’s for the 2020 iPad Pro 11” no issues! But no idea how long it will take to delivery. Switcheasy .com
I went with it to give me somewhen to stow the pencil. My not really be needed but I figured it would scratch and itch of having a together and complete unit with nothing that might fall off etc! A bit OCD I feel but oh well!
Looks like it will work well with the keyboard and get this iPad some protection for when I undock it from the expensive piece of Apple Magic

Aaah cool! Thanks for the heads up. Just checked out their site and you can order the 12.9” version with an “estimated ship date of around 25th April” it says for that version? No idea how long their shipping times would be at this time from the US (I presume that’s where they’re based?) though?
Totally agree that it would give that option to keep it protected when you undock...does make the whole set up even more chunky though? Ha!

Ha Ha - me too! I decided I would see if it finally solves my "Where do I keep the pen?" question. I've tried few options and find I invariably leave it at home in the wrong bag...
