I've had a hold since Saturday too, but it fell off my account today. I don't think that means anything except that it was on there three days longer than it should have been.

No matte given the ship date I take it. That makes you the earliest SSD w/o matte order, if so. Your order will ship first once SSD orders start moving. Please keep us informed.

I have MPB 2.93 GHz 256 SSD 8 GB matte order on Jan 7. My cancel is not yet greyed out. Feb 27 is the ship date.
 
Yowza. Having a ship date that has passed, is about 1000x worse than waiting for an upcoming ship date. I'd be ecstatic just to get an Apple e-mail saying officially it's been delayed…
 
Mine has "shipped" on Feb 19 and has been "In transit" in Shangai Pudong Airport since this afternoon... I was hoping it has been on a plane all that time, instead I realized that no plane from TNT left Shangai since my order shipped.

So apparently the plane that should have been arrived at Shangai on the 19th, morning from Lieg (Belgium) is just arrived now from Singapore or some near airport.

If we are lucky, that plane should leave towards Liege at 7:30 AM from Shangai (11:30 PM UTC if I'm correct).

I've been looking this page all the afternoon, trying to make sense why my mbp wasn't in Europe yet...

Should now show a scan in Alaska at 2:13PM today.

It went from China, to Alaska, to Indianapolis and is supposedly sitting in Memphis, TN right now. I have never seen so many stops for one item. I am in Houston, so I expect the quick jump to Houston will be in the next 72 hours.

Ditto.

No charge on my Credit Card, no email from Apple, Not Shipped and a date of 19 Feb for a ship date. WTF?

Perhaps the matte guys will see their machines before the SSD people.

I don't expect to see a change until next week now. Time to start calling Apple and raising hell. They could at least post an accurate ship date!

Now excuse me, while I find an Apple with a bite missing and start sticking pins in it.

I'm in the same boat (Austin, rather than Houston though). Not sure why it went to Memphis either. Maybe it needs a gravity boost before heading to the final destination :p.
 
Mine is on the way to Austin as well and currently in Memphis. I called Fedex to see if I could pick it up on Saturday. The representative looked it up, but said that it wouldn't be possible. I was under the impression that it might not fly out until Sunday. Monday is my delivery date.
 
Someone at Discussions says that they just chatted with another Apple rep - their word is, Apple's preparing a mailer for folks that ordered an SSD, informing them that it's gonna be delayed.

Still, I'ma be steamed till I get that e-mail. After which I can be steamed at the new date instead of the lack of date. Woo woo!

Hey, can you post a screenshot of your fedex status to know if we are on the same flight, mine just changed to:

You need Apple Sales to send an email to FedEx to tell them it's ok to hold for pickup before first delivery attempt. If you don't FedEx is contractually obligated to attempt delivery before letting you pick it up (at least that's what the rep told me when I asked about picking it up myself from the Austin depot). Probably better to just wait until Monday...the last thing you want is confusion when you're in the final stretch.

Well just got off the phone with fedex and just told me no way i can pick it up tomorrow...so its going to be a looooong weekend...it should be here by monday but it still needs to clear international blablabla...

Interesting. Now mine shows "Int'l shipment release" at 5:54PM today in Alaska. One of the tracking histories posted before didn't show this scan until it reached Indianapolis.
 
I gave my order 2 days ago and , I just recieved my canon printer :D I am still waiting my 17" baby.
Here comes the problem, they just charged printer's tuition on my debit card, why they didn't block macbook pro's price?
