Sarcasm? That has lack of vision right down to the name. (Then again, it seems like Apple has been doing some lousy names recently... maybe they should just start referring to them with year numbers?)
A name change to iPhone Optimus Prime? Of course I'm joking.
Honestly, whether or not they call it "The New iPhone" or "iPhone 5" does not phase me any more.
Although Apple named the current iPad, "The New iPad", people still refer to it as "iPad 3".
Whatever Apple comes up with next is sure to impress regardless. Despite the many issues that iDevices have come up against (Antennagate for example), people will still buy them, not because of the flaws, however because of the marvel of engineering, ingenuity of design and because it works.
Sure, iOS is closed and restricted to the App Store (that is closely watched by Apple with the process of them checking your app before you can sell it) but that also means it is harder to give your iDevice malware unintentionally.
I am currently using Android and I miss how I could simply go to Apple for support and replacement when it's necessary. With an Android device, I have to take it to my carrier and wait almost a month for a resolution, while with an iDevice, I get a resolution instantly. Therefore, most people who own a current generation iPhone will still buy an iDevice regardless of flaws.
I dare any of you to recount a good Apple Store experience without a smile on your face.
