You're judging A "Rumored" camera position based on form over function ? And it's Orientation? It does the exact same thing as the iPhone 7 Plus does, it's just aligned differently . Does it really make it that "Fugly" all because of a reposition?

The comment was made last year that the iPhone 7 Plus Had a "Fugly" camera bump, yet, others adjusted quite well and that comment ultimately faded away.

Nonsense comments judging the vertical camera is unnecessary, being It's not even been confirmed IF this is accurate.

I really don't think Apple will consider moving the Touch ID to the back. This mockup seems like something they would consider.

I can easily see them doing it. Not sure why everyone things its such a far fetched idea. Probably because they've never tried a fingerprint sensor on the back of a phone. I quite like it. When out and about, I like it better than the one on the front. When at home lying on a desk, I am impartial, since I still pick my phone up anyway to use it. No hassle whatsoever for me. Pressure will allow you to wake the phone, in the next version, so all the babies seem to be fighting over nothing.

Why do you not think they would add it though? Seems like Samsung struggled hard to add in display fingerprint sensing technology, and there was a report apple was struggling several months ago, and now more reports within the past few weeks. They are obviously considering it, that's basically a fact, because these alternatives have leaked several times. Whether they delay the release in order to avoid this alternative is the real question though.

The Galaxy S8 is longer and wider then the iPhone 6S and 7, so you are wrong and dreaming if you somehow think the screen will still fit.

I think the speaker is an element that could be hidden behind the screen (I don't know anything about it myself, I just read of such a technology a while ago being researched by other phone makers), and the light sensor and mic could go on the edge, but where's the front facing camera? Can that be hidden behind the screen?

Looks good to me. The idea of having the notification centre (especially is there is music playing) permanently open is a step forward too. I have no problem with the vertical camera, why does it even make a difference?

Look at the blueprint, look at all other phones in existence. If the blueprint is real, it's the largest screen to body ratio out there.

I used a Samsung S7 Edge for about a year.

One little complaint I had was the bezel free left and right sides of the phone. While using the phone with one hand, and sometimes two hands, my meaty part of my palm activated the phone a bit too much.

In regards to the ear speaker placement.

Since Apple is trying to use both speakers, top and bottom for stereo sound, is it inconceivable to have the speaker in the top of the phone designed more similarly to the speaker on the bottom of the phone?

That is, not cut out in the glass, but on the outside of the aluminum or steel frame?

This would ensure a full screen with unobstructed view.

Thoughts or technical ideas in this?
