New Rumor- July 15th?

It wouldn't surprise me if they didn't release until the day after the earnings call, that way they would be able to get a full quarters worth of sales so they could boast in the next Keynote & Earnings call. We can still dream though!
 
i just called my local apple store here in the UK and all they said was the next few weeks,

no overnighter here then!!

Yep. We'll know at 10 a.m. (PT) whether Lion is being released today. If not, my guess is any upcoming Tuesday for Friday before the end of the month.

They wouldn't be authorised to tell you even if it was due to be released 10 seconds after you hug up from the conversation.

There was rumors saying that it was planned for release on the 14th but due to issues with the server they delayed it.
 
I still have this nasty 17" iMac. I wish I had a brand new 2011 27" iMac, ready to run Lion. :(

Oh well, at least I can still run Lion on this piece of junk. :p

I don't understand why they don't just come out and announce the release date. They usually announce the release date of major iOS updates in advance, i don't see why this is any different.

I predict that it will be released by . . . July 31st or before :D

Seriously, I signed up to be notified so I'll just wait till I hear from :apple:

That "piece of junk" was wonderful. I had the Core Duo version. I kinda miss it from time to time.
 
Time to take a break, rest a bit during the weekends and begin the rumor anticipation again soon :D

I signed up to be notified as well. But it's hard to resist going on Macrumors for the latest tidbits.

You said it. This week was slower than my old PC with a 1GHz Celeron and 128 megs of ram running XP Server.:eek:

Not to stir up more rumors or discourse, but I did notice this:

When I added an iMac into my cart I saw that the background is a Lion background now.
