New Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Commercial Attacks Apple for iPhone 6 Plus

Just sad.

I mean really how low can you get? Maybe if Samsung kept to themselves and stopped resorting to just bashing other companies for being more successful then they could pull ahead. Android is a great platform and I think Samsung just butchers it's good name when it resorts to such low blows like this. :apple: 4 life tho.

How Apple thinks I'll spend my money on an iPhone 6? Ok, iPhones are pretty cheap in USA with all those subsides, but in a worldwide perspective, there are more interesting offers in the Android side -- or even in Microsoft/Nokia.

Drinking the Android koolaide........ Apple is about the user experience not the hardware specs.
 
I'm really surprised to see the pen/stylus mentioned here as something 'innovative' that Apple should have. Aside from artists and certain business uses I can't see the relevance in the modern consumer market tbh.

I'm sure there will be some people going from iPhone to the Note 4 and some from samsung to iPhone. Contrary to popular belief, not everybody wants an iPhone and not everybody thinks iPhone is perfect. And clearly there are a few that give a crap about the ad b/c 97% of the posts here have people going into mental breakdowns over this ad. Didn't realize Sammy was that powerful. Samsung's anti iPhone ads make me laugh. 1) The ads are funny IMO. And 2) seeing Apple fanboys damn near on the verge of tears b/c Sammy is making fun of the almighty Apple is just...well it's damn hilarious ###

Note 4 will release. Samsung will make a crap load of money. The S6 will release. Samsung will make even more money. Samsung isn't going anywhere anytime soon, despite the Apple faithful wishing Samsung would die
 
Desperate companies do desperate things........Sammy is so focused on their dying phone business that their not watching their TV's, I used to buy nothing but Samsung TV's, they were absolutely the best Panasonic clones money could buy. Now with no one left to copy they have to be original and their TV business is falling because of better products as well.....

What goes around, comes around.
 
The big thing here that, in my mind, trumps these stupid ads is the simple fact that Apple is going to absolutely obliterate Samsung in sales now. And Im referring to the sales that translate into $$.

There have already been reports of Galaxy phones being traded in and sold in droves prior to the launch of the 6. Then just look at earnings reports. Apple continues to have record breaking quarter after record breaking quarter while Samsung has been showing significant quarterly declines. Sales of their flagships have been underwhelming at best and in a last ditch effort they are coming at Apples new products in what can only be described as desperation at this point.

I love a good healthy competitive marketplace, but Samsung is here because of their manufacturing/fabbing prowess, ability to copy the actual innovators, and the ability to use an OS developed by not Samsung.
 
Have Apple users ever attacked Samsung users like this? It's an unprovoked attack based on jealousy and hatred for the press, not Apple. Think about it. Whenever Apple introduces something that is either entirely new or not, the press lavishes them with praise (as they usually should considering how Apple is one of the few companies to get it done on a grand scale) and them Android and Samsung fans get all bent out of shape. They claim to quote Apple saying they've invented everything when Apple said nothing of the sort. Then Samsungvthemselves H&O on the offensive against Apple but what they really seem to be taking offense to is the press's love of Apple. Not Apple's fault. They don't buy press and bribe celebrities like Samsung. Apple actually earns their respect. Just remember that next time some stupid Android or Samsung fan takes issue with Apple iced anything. They're just lashing out at Apple because they can't lash out at the press.
 
Samsung is in deep trouble. They were already declining in sales margins and profits before the 6. These are very dark times for Samsung. Ph

CEO Lee Kun-hee of Samsung was put in prison 2008 & separately three executives went to jail in 2006 for price-fixing.
I am not saying Samsung does not make good products, I am saying they have no ethics company wide as can be seen from their Apple bashing advertising.

Good god this post sounds so painfully American it's beyond belief.
 
In all fairness here, not so long ago the vast majority of people on this site were disgusted by the whole "phablet" category and condemned those devices at every opportunity.

Fast forward to the present day and half the users on this site are desperately awaiting the arrival of their iPhone 6 Plus.

There's a lot of hypocrisy around here.
 
Considering that Apple sold the Newton nearly two decades ago--a device with a 5"+ display and a stylus with handwriting recognition--I question how exactly Samsung was first. If the only thing Apple is copying is the screen size, Apple used bigger screens in PDA's first.

Smartphones are just modern PDA's with cellular radios. That's what we called them before the iPhone.

Ads that so directly demean competitors are rarely good for growth. They only serve to make those who like the other product like it more and those who already bought yours feel better. Anyone who is undecided will now understand that another option exists from someone that isn't mean spirited. While it may not be logical, it doesn't matter. Consumers buy for emotional reasons and negative ads incite negative emotional responses.

Here, in the world of technology, that was a memorable year for a lot of us. It brought us the 3GS! That's recent.

Not if you want something that relies on a specification. How much use would the user experience have been last last year if I wanted NFC?
Back in the day when Apple made up excuses for MMS and copy and paste. If I wanted that function THEN, (others had it so what if their implementation was different), the user experience added nothing. I still couldn’t send an MMS!!
THE USER EXPERIENCE IS BUILT ON SPECS, don’t lose sight of that.
