What strawman arguments please? My argument is that Samsung almost automatically will lose market share and profit margin in this kind of market situation, regardless of this campain. There is just no inevitable causality... It's a big oversimplification to argue "Samsung is losing money and sales = this ad campaing did not work".What does admitting that have to do with my post that you responded to.. of course apple is a latecomer, how could I even deny that if I wanted to?
The post that you quoted was asking how is their marketing campaign a success if they're losing money and sales. Would you like to answer that and not invent strawman arguments?
And these campains are not directed at you or me as "hardcore" apple users, but at the people who think that Apple products are nothing special but overpriced stuff in a shiny packaging anyway.
