I doubt it, because the selection is on Apple's side, not on your device side.

I assumed English (US) would get it sooner, but almost 40 hours later, still nothing.

On the other hand, it’s allowed on account level, not on device. And we should have access to it on macOS normally. And my Mac who’s on golden gate didn’t got allowed either.

FYI on macOS you can circumvent the waitlist.

Does indexing have to complete before you get in?

No. I’ve seen numerous reports of people saying they got through the waitlist and indexing is still going on.

It seems I now have the Siri app but settings still says on on the waitlist. Perhaps this is just temporary?

EDIT: I have the app but I can't actually do anything. When I type a question it says "Siri is not available on this device. Open settings to check the status."

Same here, just about 48 hours since installing and waiting for new Siri. 15 Pro Max also.
