New Siri Waitlist

i remember wait times for Apple Intelligence being several days during the early stages of signups. Apple may be rolling out this Siri in waves like they did Apple Intelligence previously.

Not on my m4 iPad got in within hour been indexing for day and half now

You have 4 voices I got in within hour (still indexing 36 hour at later) on my M4 iPad and got only 2 voices to choose from

Don't bother. All it does is activate the interface without any functionality.

Correct. When my 15 pro got off the waitlist it did the same on my MacBook Pro. 💻

Yes, I’m in the waitlist for the new Siri. Nothing wrong with my setup.

For those in Canada that don't see the option (and have a compatible device), make sure your language is set to English (Canada) NOT English (UK) (like mine was). That was the hurdle. Cheers!

I updated and joined waitlist immediately. Both my iPhone and iPad didn't show the indexing in progress notice until a couple of hours ago. Sill on waitlist.

I updated 24 hours after the release on my M5 iPad Pro, and I've now been on the waiting list for 24 hours. Nothing yet. Also, indexing was done in a few minutes (even though it's unrelated).

several of us didnt have Indexing start immediately...in my case it started exactly 24 hours after I installed the update and signed up for Siri waitlist...as it stands Im still waiting on Indexing to finish and to get Siri

By the way, if you type siri:// in Safari, the Siri app will open, but nothing will work if you're still on the waiting list.

an interesting point to add on... I did the update on my iPhone about 24 hours ago and still on waitlist. Did the MacOS update like 4 hours ago then did the bypass trick immediately and got access to the Siri app and did a quick chat.

When I type "Siri://" into Safari it opens the app on iPhone and I can see the chat, but it will not let me use the actual app.
