I'll be sure to write up my thoughts on the case in this thread once I get it. Unfortunately, that won't be until this Friday at the earliest or next week, because I just ordered the case tonight.

No problem! What are the two parts of the case? It seriously looks like its a one piece to me lol

Only negative so far is the back gets really dirty from anything it touches. And it's pretty hard to clean off.

You must be a slob, are you eating greasy French fries and holding your phone at the same-time?

I have had mine since the 19th and have been super impressed how nice the back of the phone looks and does not show anything, which is completely opposite of karebare518

I was doubtful of that post as well. Stop holding back and show us some hi-res pics of your case!

Been using mine since Saturday and I've had ZERO issues with the back of this case showing finger grease and what not. Either-way, the matte finish TPU wipes clean in no time. I'm a very clean person...but perhaps a burger king board member will have issues in that department? :D

Also, the frame is a tad more matte finish than the Slim Armors rear cover. No scratches on mine so far. But I think it helps simply due to the fact your not setting the phone down on that plastic like you do with the Slim Armor. The only part that really touches the frame is your hands.

The frame and TPU really feel like a single piece once installed, its pretty awesome how perfect the fit for everything is. Very snug, zero complaints.

In terms of size.... this case is thinner than the Pixelskin HD, which is half the size of the Candyshell already. Going from Candyshell to this will feel like your going caseless almost. It's a slimmer case, but by no means feels cheap on the protection front.

I'll probably be updating my signature below at some point during this week... ;)

You're making the wait for my case so much harder. I'll be coming from a Belkin Grip Candy and a Magpul Field. It sounds like I'll finally be able to replace my Belkin.

finally a review http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTvTYZfSmaI !

seems like a really good case. now i just can´t decide between that or the magpul field case

I used the Field case for a while but ended up going back to my Belkin Grip Candy Sheer because i felt like the Magpul was a little too thick compared to the Belkin. I also wasn't too fond of the ribs on the back (great grip but not so great look IMO). Anyways, my Neo Hybrid is "In Transit" as I'm typing this and will let you know how it compares once I receive it.

How is that lip with the glass screen protector? I have one, and I'm worried it'll be completely flush.

I think they built the case knowing it'll work fine with even a .4 glass SP. I have a .4 and there's still quite a bit of lip for lay on table protection. Heck, I was worried it wouldn't work with it at all.

Just got my case about an hour ago. I gotta say I'm VERY impressed. I've had so many cases for my iPhone 5 including Speck Candyshell, Pixelskin HD, Incipio Frequency, Magpul Field Case, Belkin Grip Candy Sheer, Switcheasy Tones, Spigen Slim Armor, Neo Hybrid EX Slim and many other cheap cases from Amazon. This is THE BEST CASE out of all of them. Obviously, in terms of protection, there are better cases out there, but for my needs (scratches and occasional drops here and there), it's perfect! Here is a quick pro-con list:

PROS
1. VERY Slim (slimmer than Belkin Grip candy sheer and Switcheasy Tones). It is the exact same thickness as the Neo Hybrid EX Slim (Except that this covers your whole back).
2. Tight fit (NO movement whatsoever). On most TPU cases you can pull the sides a little bit, but the plastic bumper on the Neo Hybrid prevents the TPU from stretching away from the phone.
3. Buttons are extremely responsive.
4. Individual cutouts on the bottom along with grille for the speaker/mic.
5. Lay on the table design.
6. Works with glass screen protectors (I don't use them but for those of you who do, it works).
7. Matte TPU feels amazing and gives good grip.
8. No over-sized camera cutout that leaves the aluminum back exposed.
9. LOOKS BAD-ASS!!!

CONS:
1. Headphone port might be a bit too small for over-sized headphone plugs.
2. A tiny bit more lay on the table design would have been appreciated, but not a big deal.

Summary:
I wish Spigen would have released this case when the iPhone 5 came out so that I could have saved a lot of $$$ on those other cases!

To the reviewer above, thanks for the comprehensive review! Sounds like this case covers every single thing I'm looking for. I can't wait to get this case and end my seemingly everlasting search!

I think they built the case knowing it'll work fine with even a .4 glass SP. I have a .4 and there's still quite a bit of lip for lay on table protection. Heck, I was worried it wouldn't work with it at all.

Thanks for the reassurance! Definitely can't go back to plastic screen protectors after having a glass one.

Ok, Spigen finally got it right.

This is the BEST case I have ever used for the iPhone 5. And I am one picky/meticulous SOB.

Pros:

1. Fit/finish/quality. Excellent. The metal buttons are awesome. Everything has a matte finish and fingerprints disappear after you touch it. No smudges/scratches, etc. The back is very much like the Belkin Sheer Grip. Works with a skin (I am using a digiskin metallic series with edge protection). It is tight, but fits.

No floppy edges, everything stays in place. Great secure fit.

2. Color. The slate is virtually identical to the iphone's original finish.

3. Everything. This IS the perfect case.

*Install tip: You can separate the plastic perimeter from the silicone/TPU liner. If you have a skin on, separate the two, and put the liner on first to prevent it from lifting your skin.

Previous cases:

Belkin Grip Sheer? (I loved this, but the button presses sucked. This case solved that problem).

Speck Candyshell (Good in every way, but scratches easily and breaks after time)

Caudabe Perimeter (Great, but didn't fit with my skin. Too thick)

Spigen neo hybrid slim bumper. Good, but kept slipping off the phone.

Spigen Slim Armour: Ok, but the "metal" (really plastic) plate didn't sit flush, and was kind of bulky.

Spigen Bounce: Cheap rebranded ebay crap.

I ended up buying ~11 of these cases, and am thinking of keeping two (one to use, and one for a backup in case). PM me if you are interested in the other 9. Price will be pretty close to Amazons.

Does this case work if you have a back screen protector and side protectors? I have the ones from Stickrboy

Can you post a pic of the lay on table design with the case and glass screen protector? I'm thinking about buying a glass SP but am curious as to how much lay on the table I'll be sacrificing. Thanks!!!

Can I get you to compare it o the Slim Armor in thickness?

Like this:
Left to Right. Slim Armor S, Slim Armor Original

Wait a minute, when did the slim armor s get released!?!?!?

Also, judging from your picture, the slim armor and slim armor s are exactly the same size. Is this correct?

Do you split the case (separate tpu and plastic outer frame) when installing? or do you install it like a one piece case.

Sorry, I sold the Slim Armor a while ago. But from memory, the Slim Armor was much thicker.

This case is like the Neo Hybrid EX slim in terms of thickness. Or if you have a Belkin Candy Grip Sheer, it's very close. (all based on my memory).

Do you have a satin silver neo hybrid? How much are you selling for?
