New Stock at UK Apple Stores?

Can anyone confirm whether the UK Apple Stores have received the new Macbooks yet? Or any other shops for that matter.

8 business days if I order online so i'll take a trip to the shops if I can get the qucker!
 
I have been calling the Glasgow apple store since 9am and it keeps giving me the recorded voice... "welcome...blah blah the apple store is currently closed"!!!!!

I wonder if they are too busy to answer so have shut the phones off???

Possibly so, as it says they open at 9. Im going to call one of the Manchester Stores when they open at 10.
 
Man I hope there not inundated with people, I need there to be some sock left for late night shopping tomorrow!!
 
Trying to call Bullring but they seem to think, picking up the phone and then hanging up is good customer service. 🙄
 
Just back from the Trafford Centre with my new MacBook Pro 😀. There was quite a few people buying them, and from what i can gather the stocks were pretty limited.
 
well i just order the whitebook and it says it ships in 3 days and should get it before the 23rd.here it says it will ship within 24hrs.but i did up the ram,so thats why.

Man, I'm so jealous, I wish I could get out of work early and get to the store before it closes!
 
Southampton West Quay have sold out of top end MB and MBP and dont know when the next delivery will be...
 
Tried Regent Street today, they had sold out of the 2.4 macbook and macbook pro, had some of the 2.0 macbook left - this was at midday, it was heaving in there!
 
Glasgow definitely will not have any of the new notebooks today but are expecting them "this week, hopefully tomorrow".
 
Bullring has sold out. Just telling people to check back daily.

Annoying that online orders aren't even starting yet. :-(
 
I bought a white MacBook from Bullring today on my lunch.

Must have been lucky to get some while they had stock.

Just came back from Regent Store: confirmed, no 2.4Ghz MacBook. No idea when they will get some. Monday ?
 
All I want is for the Glasgow store to get stock of the 2GHz. I'm hopefully going to make that into my only machine.
 
trafford centre is out of all the new mb/ps bar 2.0.

Had a good play. They do look and feel really nice. Trackerpad is ace. Didn't find, the gloss too bad, although did get finger prints if picked if by the screen, bit iPhone like.

Can't wait.
 
Urgh, I don't understand why Edinburgh doesn't have an Apple Store :/. I could always pay £10 for the return ticket to Glasgow... anyone know if they are definitely going to be in store tomorrow, or if I can reserve one?

Before you go to Glasgow make sure you book an appointment…

According to one poster's experience they were turning people away this morning because they hadn't made an appointment to buy a new MB or MBP…

Bizarre.
