Can't read mate? Notice how I say accidentally sit on your phone and trust me it's pretty dam normal, no phone have bent by my butt.

What's next for you? It's not normal for people to put a phone in pockets?

Again get a grip, I bet if it was a Samsung phone in this videos you will claim the opposite and state how apple have the superior build quality.

End of story ;)

Superior quality doesn't mean it's an otter box. It means it's beautiful to see and touch, not that its a brick of concrete. Put it wherever you want, just don't sit on it.

While I agree it does seem like there could be a quality problem with the 6+, I can't help but feel like this guy has a hard on for the moto x in both videos.
Also it's not that sunny stop wearing sunglasses.

If I sit on my phone it will probably bend? NOSH*T. I just punched my 40" TV. The screen isn't working anymore, what should I do?

1. Find a forum about the TV manufacturer
2. Make multiple posts about the broken screen conspiracy
3. Demand that the manufacturer give you a new one.
4. Make more posts about how they won't do it.

;)

This video isn't faked despite what some of you want to believe. I have a 6+, am a bodybuilder, and KNOW I could bend this thing in half if I wanted too. BUT... I'm not worried about the structure of the device under normal circumstances. It is a quality piece and it would take a great amount of pressure to actually bend it to this degree.

Its odd.. If it was straight out of box new.

It shouldn't have gone to home-screen. Should have launched through welcome and setup screens.

LOL i didnt notice that. Rips the sticker off but the phone is already set up lol...

His advert for The Moto X post break (I'm not going to say bend), makes it obvious that its not costing him anything.

He is making money out of this and every sucker that clicks on that video is falling for it. Pathetic. Wish I had thought of it first. I'm jelly.

OMG...this is proof that there are actually people on this board with some freaking common sense.

Maybe there is a explination for all this? Maybe the glue in some devices that connects the screen and glass to the aluminum frame is not fully dried and cured yet, thus comprimising the integrity and frame strength of the device?

In UnboxTherapys video with the 4.7 inch iPhone, he was trying so hard to bend it and it didnt even bend at all he put a very tiny bend in it from a really long prolonged period of pressure (he did it for about 30 seconds and he said "yep, these new iPhone 4.7 inch models sure are alot more durable and tougher then the Plus)

So how in Consumer Reports the Plus takes more to break then the 4.7 inch iPhone 6?

How was he able to bend this Plus so much easier then the first one he tried that had a bend to start with from "his pocket"? Maybe the glue in some devices arent fully hardened?

Dude who really ever sits on their phone in their backpocket? That is beyond stupid and if you are sitting on your device that is conforming to the contours of your ass and back pockets, and you put all your body weight on it no **** its gonna bend, i weigh 200 pounds, any phone going in my back pocket and me sitting on it for a bit will surely bend, thankfully I have never nor will i ever put my phones in my back pocket and sit on them, i Would remove it and put it in my front pocket if i wanted o sit, this is common sense

In all seriousness its the technique he is using. His technique has changed since the original 6 and 6+ videos. His thumbs are together and center back of the device. I would bet that his thumbs dent the aluminum first and possibly even dislodge the battery. Then the extreme crumple effect with screen popping off happens.

The size of the 6+ no doubt makes it easier to apply greater force by hand. But this doesn't represent regular usage. It doesn't even represent sitting on your phone because ones weight would be spread over a much greater area (than two thumbs) and the phone is not locked into position (tight grip). I'm a big guy so I don't sit on my phone, but if I did I would expect damage. My wife is petite and I would think it could survive some instance of sitting, not all.

Learn to read mate, and nope people have sit for years on phones without bending hell I sleep sometimes with my phone in bed and it's not rare for me to wake up and find it getting "chrushed" by my weight with no damm bend.

Stop defending this lol this phones are more fragile than they need to be.

iPhone bends at 70lb of pressure according the consumer reports, which isn't much at all. If you sat on it on a soft chair, it would be bent.

He's applying easily that force on a smaller area (thumbs) so I'm sure it would bend like that no problem.

For people saying it's fake and don't believe that result - make a video of you applying that pressure to your iPhone 6/6+ and see what happens.

I wouldn't do it to mine because I'm sure the phone is a bit flimsy. Don't care though, still loving it regardless. I'll just make sure to treat it gently.

Actually, the 6+ is a bit better, 90lb of pressure.

The second the camera turns off, he won't look mad, he'll look very happy with all the clicks ($) he got.

I'd be mad too if I made a simple video to demonstrate problems people were having and then got accused of blatantly lying, libel, having people say I should be sued for all my money, having people accuse me of being a shill etc.

You expect him to not be upset when you have apple attack dogs rabidly biting at him and accusing him of all these things and saying he should get sued for all the money he owns?

But he lied.

He's applying pressure to a different spot than the area consumer reports tested. We don't know how much pressure it takes to bend the iPhone when the pressure is applied to the area around the volume buttons.

Eventually he will be interviewed on national news and appear on talk shows. He probably has one lined up for next week already. Get ready to see a whole lot more of this guy.

He also said the SIM card was removed 'for obvious reasons'... What the hell does that mean?

I would assume it would be almost impossible to get the sim tray out after bending it. So using a working SIM card would not be smart.

Even if you base it on the Consumer reports test, 70 to 90 pounds of force to bend the phone is something most adults are capable of doing with their hands. That's really not the issue. The issue is whether the phone will bend in a front pants pocket as what is being claimed.

So what though? Maybe it's just because I've been with Sprint forever, but sim cards don't mean a thing to me. Even the ones in the Sprint iPhones are solely for LTE.

He purchased the phone to bend it, so what difference would it make if there was a sim card in it? Just doesn't make sense the way he said it, he's assuming everyone would know why it was for 'obvious reasons'... clearly some of us do not know why. I can almost understand your reasoning for that, but again, I'm not getting it. Maybe I'm just dumb lol
