Learn to read mate, and nope people have sit for years on phones without bending hell I sleep sometimes with my phone in bed and it's not rare for me to wake up and find it getting "chrushed" by my weight with no damm bend.

Stop defending this lol this phones are more fragile than they need to be.

I'm not defending anyone but putting your phone in your back pocket and sitting on it is really dumb. Really dumb. You deserve whatever condition your phone will possibly be in.

Sleeping and lying over on your phone is different than these tests. The bed is soft unless u sleep on plywood. And your body is soft and has curves. I'm sure an iPhone 6 would be fine.

Im in the 3 - 4 weeks shipping for my 6 plus but i already have my case on the way :p there is no way i will have it on my pocket naked.

The bendgate guy is an idiot and a liar. Watch this video. They teach how to bend & cheat. He could even bend a hammer. lol. :p

http://youtu.be/k8I9hTMfmeg

Considering the hit count on his videos he's obviously not an idiot. Liar? Yes. He's clearly a liar. The fact that the "fresh from the box" iPhone he "bent on the spot" was already set up proves that much. We really don't need to know more than that. This video is clearly faked, just like the first one and his ham handed MotoX pitch at the end just drives home the point.

Am I the only who noticed he used A LOT more force and did less damage in his first video. In this video he bend is EXTREMELY easy. It doesn't make sense.

In this video he has more leverage because he is standing up. This one bent a little too easy for my liking this time. I have a 6+ and I will be babying it. If this guys videos keep surfacing and getting hits, he will be a thorn in Apple's side.

You mean if his hoaxed videos keep surfacing and giving Apple more free publicity they'll be laughing all the way to the bank.

Oh lol a human can find the structural weakness in a way a machine that is rigid and fixed can't. Class dismissed

Sure. Because intentionally finding a device's weakest point and then applying as much force to it as you possibly can is considered "normal use."

There is no proof that the strengthening brackets were removed or it was bent than moved back prior.

No, but there's proof that it wasn't fresh from the box as he claimed, which casts everything else about the video into question.

No what he originally said is if an iPhone 6+ bends slightly from a certain way of carrying it it will create a bend that allows it to bend further with less effort. Time will tell how right or wrong he is but what he demonstrates is a speeded up version of what he believes we will see in the coming months. Unless apple change the design in manufacturer ing but we should still see the first wave of iPhones bending.

So if it happens within the first year, warranty.

And for those who got AppleCare +, then two years.

Maybe it will happen right after the warranty expires. Doesn't it always?

Why are they bending so easy in apple stores?

Great. You go ahead and take the word of a shady guy on the Internet who has an obvious agenda. No skin off my nose. As I said in another thread, I'll wait until we see reports from actual iPhone owners with bent phones before I start to worry.

Are they? I see one phone in this picture and no corroborating sources. Why do you want the phone to be bendable so badly?

now your putting words into my mouth. I never said I want it to bend so easily. I'm interested in the truth of the matter that is all. I've played with the 6+ and I own a 6. I reckon I could bend a 6+ just as easily. Would I want to? That's not the point. The point is a 6+ is too big for my lifestyle. My pocket would cause it to dig in as I walk run and jump and climb. So I chose not to buy one but I'm interested if I had would it have bent at the point I thought it would snd would it then have bent further iver time. I know where it would bend just by looking at it because I know how my 5|s dug in my pocket. What is funny is the 6 feels better in my pocket than my 5S. The 6 does not dig in at all. The shape and feel is a work of mastery. But no one commented on this in reviews. I guess they don't live the same lifestyle as me. I really like apple. My iPhone brings me so much pleasure but if it's structurally weak I'd like to know. Not so I can stop shopping with apple but just so I can know they will take care of me as I stay loyal to them giving them time to fix what appears to be a mistake in production or design. I'll stick by them if they do right by me.

Liked say I chose not to buy a 6+ because I thought based on my lifestyle it would bend in rxactly the spot we are seeing.

In other words, you're looking for a reason to rationalize your purchase of the smaller phone to yourself.

Not at all. This model fits my Levi's better. Your not listening. I knew before I saw the 6+ it was not built for me. It was not designed for my lifestyle. The 6 is. It's real simple to understand.

I don't see consumer reports int he streets of Toronto, yelling at viewers with surrounded by 4 pimple face kids trying to prove a point.

i wish i had the money to be able to ruin all these perfectly fine phones.

here are people like him bending phones and i can't even get one out my local store and people are waiting well into october just to get theirs delivered.

your phone is simply NOT gonna bend as much as these videos show under normal use as a PHONE no matter how tight your god damn jeans are. if your phone bends then take it up with apple as it's a manufacturing defect. if they want to use aluminium which can and will bend in their phones then they should be replacing iphones that are bent under NORMAL USE. if it's a result of people deliberately trying to bend it or accidental damage then they can refuse it unless of course the insurance/warranty covers it.

people gotta relax. just use your phone normally and enjoy it.

Yeah I don't know why he'd go through the trouble of setting it up.

He also said the SIM card was removed 'for obvious reasons'... What the hell does that mean?

Not that I'm saying the video is faked but it just doesn't make sense.

Since apple store stocks are so limited he probably got one from a carrier. in canada at least, iPhones must be activated prior to them leaving the store when purchased from carriers. Not defending him, just giving some plausible cause.

I can't believe people are still saying the guy's videos are fake, etc. Jesus the delusional fanboys in this place are at a point where it's sickening.

We get it! How many of you punks need to keep saying the same thing, over and over and over and over. "It's fake!" "That guy is a loser and a liar!" "I'm a fanboy and I simply can't stand for any criticism of the iPhone!" "Only 9 people have complained to Apple about bent phones!" "Apple said so!"

Please for the love of everything nice and good respectfully shut up already. The phone may have a design flaw/be poorly designed which may make it weak.
