I suppose thats possible. It just seems disproportinate now. Like there is a lot more wasted white space then before.
 
looks like the casing on is going to be slightly different... From that picture it looks like the metal casing will be flush with the front of the iPod....

Yah why is it that Apple is incapable of making some of the most innovative devices I've ever seen from people NOT in the industry. IF some high school kid can whip up some cool design that would probably sell like mad why can’t Apple. Once again Apple has gone with the same old warmed over design. 30 years from now we are still going to be stuck with the same form factor just smaller.

Ipod = music, video is just an added feature.

I like to look at it this way.

Ask Steve to add a second click wheel with other controls on it in the wasted space. :p

1. Their devices aren't even made in america.
2. You can set your own iPod to Japanese or Chinese via the language menu.
 
The scroll wheel looks so tiny next to that screen. I wonder if this thing will be super thin like the nano.

You've always been able to choose language on the iPods, so it's not strange that it's in chinese.

It looks a bit weird, but maybe I'll get used to it.

I'm not waiting for the new iPod, though. Bring on the new Power updates.

Apple sells all over the world. Chinese iPods likely do not show English as the language on them ... nor Japanese ... nor German ... nor ... you get the point.

Store has been down for 20 minutes now. :eek:
 
I entered the serial number on the left into www.apple.com/support and was given a "No info found. Please try again." The second serial gives me a "Please enter a valid serial number."

:)
 
Gotta admit I could use a high resolution screen on my Powerbook. Not enough room to open all the browser windows I want to have open. :D

Apple has struck a deal with Levi Strauss for Apple branded jeans with a special PodPocket. :p
 
I might as well just accept it... no work is getting done anytime this next hour :D ...just gotta keep looking busy!
