My comments:
* A full "video iPod" never made sense for most people. It's too soon (if ever) and would have been perceived as a failure.
* Adding video to the MUSIC iPods as a cool extra (one you can always just ignore) makes good sense.
* Love the bigger screen and thinner body. Even the 60 is thinner than the old 20! This plus the nano makes a great lineup. They'll sell tons.
* Playing clips from my own camera would be cool, assuming you can play any clips you want. (I assume iTunes converts video to iPod-ready form, just like with photos.)
* TV (limited selection at first) and music videos on iTunes and iPods? No revolution for me, but a great step to take. A foothold in new areas, and a fun option for users to have. I might even buy one or two.... and paying double to get video vs. just the song doesn't bother me at all. (Especially if the music is full quality and can be shuffled with my music library like any other song? That would be welcome.)
* New iMacs--with built-in camera and remote control? How cool is that? (Now when will Apple make them in black?) iMacs are the fun (and unexpected) part of today, for me. (Did I mention selling tons?)
* The simplicity of an iMac contrasted with a "media center" PC is humorous, even if they aren't really parallel products.
* New PowerMacs and PowerBooks? The wait continues... hang in there. Next week?
