Zagg is the least innovative company I have ever seen. Wrapsol has carried this product for years, and they stand behind it. Zagg's guarantee is a joke. Good luck ever getting them to replace your phone when you drop it and it breaks. Good luck even trying to get them to replace the protector!

And has anyone even looked at the cut that Zagg is sending out for iPhone 5? It looks horrible! And it's not even shipping until Sep 25th - Oct 2nd for the iPhone 5.

There are so many better options people. I don't understand the brand loyalty to Zagg. They have THE WORST customer service of any company I have dealt with, and their products are sub-par copies of previous innovators.

Better options for a clear skin:

Wrapsol Ultra - Same protection, same price, better service & better company overall

BodyGuardz clear skin - No drop protection, but their cut looks really tight and they're already shipping their product

I never had problems with Zagg. Their replacement policy is pretty easy and efficient.

Is this extreme screen protector as clear as the zagg HD ?

The clarity is just as clear! There is an extra layer that causes the invisibleSHIELD to be a tad thicker, but other then that, there isn't much of a difference.

----------

I dont like these wet apply shields, i cant stand the orange peel effect.

Have you tried the new HD invisibleSHIELD?

I am so sorry that you feel this way. Did you have a bad experience with ZAGG? Something I can assist you with?

You are correct, we do not replace devices that may be come damaged. However, if your invisibleSHIELD ever becomes scratched, discolored, or damaged in anyway while protecting your device we will replace it for free. Here is a video explaining the process: http://zagg.to/zW4lkD

If you or anyone else need my assistance with anything send me an email! I am happy to help! zaggchick at ZAGG dot com

I had a Zagg on my iPhone 4. Last a day before I took it off. It had a horrible sticky feeling. I gave it to my girlfriend (as I had 2) and hers last about 6 months before going all orange and peeling off.

Instead I used a Power Support Crystal screen protector and it's lasted me 2 years almost, looks and feels fantastic too.

Not that I've needed too, but if I did, I could peel it off and re apply it.

Hey, thanks! Looks like you guys are really trying to be more responsive and that is a great thing.

Zagg isn't great

I've had to replace my Zagg Maximum Invisibleshield every month because the stupid thing will NOT stay on my phone. It constantly peels off from putting it into my pocket. It also turns blue and gets covered in lint after only a month of use. The Zagg HD however is a great product. I have this on my front and the Max on the back and sides. The HD feels great, looks great, and doesn't come off like the other. I think I'm going to try a different product for my iPhone 5. I'm thinking about trying out these BodyGuardz protectors. How are the Carbon Fiber protectors? Do they constantly peel off?

Extreme Shield is AWFUL

I had an Extreme Shield on my iPhone 5, which I just picked up yesterday. There is a new (highly alcoholic smelling) solution which you HAVE to use to put it on. (I had mine installed at Best Buy Mobile) It looked PHENOMENAL at first. However, it is so thick, the touch screen is no where near as sensitive. Within 2 hours, it started to develop LARGE bubbles underneath it. (there were NO bubbles there after the awesome install job by Best Buy Mobile.) I thought they would go away over night. Over night, the bubbles turned brown, and discolored. Fluke you might say... However, my sisters iPhone 5 with an Extreme Shield, did the EXACT same thing.

This morning, I went back and had a new Extreme Shield installed. It did the exact same thing within 2 hours. Ended up switching it out, and having Best Buy Mobile install the Zagg HD. It looks awesome, and I haven't had any of the problems that I did with the extreme.

I've always had the Invisible Shield on my iPhones. The protection is great and I like that the films make the phone a bit less slick in your hands. I had to have them replaced once because they were peeing, and I didn't like the yellow discoloration on my white 4S. I just ordered the HD full body for my black iPhone 5. I heard Power Support is good but they're not accepting pre-orders. However, their sister company TruProtection is, films are the same. Only problem is they're not offering a film for the back. That's why I decided to order the Zagg HD.

just so you guys know the new extreme shield recommends at least 4 days to completely dry to get rid of bubbles but the HD ones usually only takes a day.

PS i work at best buy mobile

Loved the zagg screen protector on my previous phone had it for about a year and a half, never had any problem with ti especially not the orange peel people complained about. Loved how i could just take my pen or pencil and poke and rub or draw on it with no problems at all :D only thing i didnt like was the rubber texture i guess but thats just me, but as a screen protector it was pretty bada$$ no scratch marks what so ever

almost bit on the extreme shield and HD invisible shield today at best buy. opted to wait for my preferred screen protector of choice.

in regards to product guarantees and customer service, i've had nothing but positive experiences with zagg (and zaggchick, via fb). they stand by their products 110%. i do, however, prefer the power support products and am extremely saddened that they don't have anything yet =[

I was torn between the extreme and the HD. I ended up going with the HD. I think it is AMAZING. it's super clear and feels like GLASS. no orange peel, despite the wet apply. I'm sure I could have gotten a diff one for less money, but i'm very satisfied with it. the only gripe i have is that it's kinda cut thin (width-wise). It covers the screen, but only to the left and right by maybe a mm or two on each side. so the edges are noticeable, esp when they collect lint

I have tried a lot of screen protectors in the past 2 years. This new Zagg HD is by far the best wet apply protector i have used. The best protector I have used period was the xgearlive fantom. It was a tempered glass protector. I have preordered the Banshee glass protector and would recommend them to anyone.

Not sure if you had bad experience with them but their replace process is one of the easiest, as long as you have all your old pieces.

Even though the cut looks odd, they decided to go with that because they were getting so many returns with full circle around camera/home button. That is the most vulnerable place to peel off. I had to exchange two Invisible Shields with same problem, particularly with back camera corner area.

Sorry, but I have to disagree with you; Zagg has amazing customer service every problem I had - solved. When my iPhone 4 was stolen and revcovered my InvisbleSHIELD was lost in the process, I told zagg my story and sent me replacement Shields for no cost. Another thing why would ZAGG replace your phone when YOU break it, its a libility everyone would break their phone with the SHIELD on and would have to replace everyone's iPhone is counter logic thinking

I have the zagg extreme shield on my iPhone 5. I had it installed Friday night at the zagg kiosk in the mall. Saturday morning I noticed spots underneath the screen protector so I went back to the kiosk. They said it could be because of the new type of installation spray they use for the extreme but they replaced it for free. So far I have been happy with this now. It is just slightly thicker than the original invisible shield but definitely no orange peel in this one. I probably would have gotten the HD version but they only had the extreme when I went to the mall. The extreme is also cut small enough that cases should fit around the edges without lifting the screen protector up. I also noticed that when they replaced mine, it seemed to take quite a bit of effort for him to remove it from the iPhone so maybe it won't peel as easy from everyday use.

I had the same thing happe to me and my wife's iPhone 5. I wanted to get the HD but they were not in stock. Good thing Best Buy has that 30 day return policy.. I will ride it out until they get the HD...

I have ZAGG Extreme on my iPhone 5. It does take a lot longer to dry. I still have one small blotch but it will be gone by tomorrow morning, started out with three big ones. It is noticeably thicker but feels good. Had it installed at their retail store in Salt Lake City.

The guys at the zagg kiosk at my mall warned me about the bubbles before I bought the extreme. They said that because of the new solution that the extreme requires, the screen will develop the bubbles and they will take 2-3 days to dissipate.

At first I thought I had lucked out, but within 2 or 3 hours the bubbles came. They were very large the first night (saturday night), but have gotten noticeably better. They are not, however, gone just yet (Monday morning). If they are not gone on Wednesday, I'll return to the kiosk and ask for an HD as a replacement.

I trust zagg as a manufacturer and believe that these bubbles will disappear. However, given that this is the first release of the extreme line, I am wary that the product may not be "perfected" just yet.

Question for anyone who has bought the extreme and taken it off: does the new solution leave any kind of residue after the protector is removed?

I just had the Extreme shield installed, wet application. There is no orange peel effect. It's completely clear.

I installed the HD shield on Friday afternoon, wet install also, and no orange peel here at all. In fact, thanks to the new, triangular cuts for the home button and camera/earpiece up top, it was the quickest and overall best install I've done.
